Worst place. Rude and no empathy. Misleading when it comes to doing what the paying customer wants!!!!!! Wants $15,000 of your money and that is just the beginning and then there are more fees to come, but doesn’t help when you need to change things even before you pay!!!!!!BEWARE should have dealt with Rookwood Cemetery instead!!!!!! AS PER PREVIOUS REVIEW, I TOO WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS ORGANISATION. Wish I had read the reviews prior. UPDATE In reply to their response…..Why would I bother and waste my time???????? The damage is already done. MAYBE HAVE A LOOK AT GETTING NEW STAFF THAT IS RIGHT FOR THE JOB AND THAT KNOWS HOW TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS AND CHANGING YOUR PATHETIC COMPANY MANAGEMENT!!!!!!
Location and grounds well kept and we arranged our service which was lovely. However customer service which unfortunately is required at every stage organising service, arranging plaque, arranging interment, etc is exceptionally poor. Phone calls go unanswered and unreturned, same for emails, you have to follow up every step of the way and constantly dealing with different people in different departments. It was shocking really, given how distressing this time of life is, to then have to deal with these people. Also be ready to pay for every single thing, even if your loved one thought they had already pre-paid, there are a lot of other items they will bill you extra for. I definitely would not recommend this organisation and hope the management of the site gets taken over by a better company so others don't go through the unnecessary stress I faced.
It was a beautiful send off for my little brother.. I really enjoyed the visual/audio on his life. A few things I would've done differently had I been asked, but as like the people, each funeral is different. R.I.P Lil bro
Really annoyed after 4 phone calls Jasmine hasnt returned my call, then Maria telling quotes are only valid for two weeks and theres been an increase in the plots. FFS sake pick up the phone and return emails
The Rose gardens in the Crematorium, are now being looked after,by the new owners/management of the Cemetery..
August 1989 is when we farewelled my dear mother. In the Rose garden. Wonderful send off and soon to revist this month to mark 30 years. Beautiful to walk around these grounds. It's changed alot for the better.
The staff are always lovely and willing to help with anything. A beautiful resting place for your loved ones.
Massive Cemetery Right at Port Botany. Amazing view. Compassionate and extremely helpful staff.
Edit: now the search function does NOT work. The search function worked fine for years. I wouldn't recommend either this cemetery or the related one in Woronora same board - overpriced and extremely rude customer service. It's just legalised theft for the big end of town, the corporate raiders, using Crown land to misappropriate public money. This is an extremely overpriced cemetery, with far too many private individuals with their sticky fingers in it, serving on its "board". Why does everything have to be run like a corporation for goodness sake? Now they have ridiculous candlelight vigils ... most people just want to be reassured that they will have a nice resting place and that the cemetery will be kept immaculate. It is no longer run by council/government. You can't even reserve a burial plot now, as you could years ago. So, how can someone prepare for their burial? It has to be left to family members once deceased. We have numerous relatives buried there, but they were prepaid plots. It's all about money and greed now as well as government's agenda. You can prepay for cremation, but not a burial plot. That is all about government agenda.
Beautiful place to visit loved ones who have passed
