Hi, my name is Yassir, and I’m a year 9 student. I’d like to share my honest opinion about this school.nnI’ve been at this school for nearly 10 years, and during my time there, I’ve made so many good friends from my year as well as from both younger and older grades. I have around 30 friends, though I’m not entirely sure of the exact number. I’ve met the teachers, education supporters, the principal, the assistant principals, and well being staff. When I feel upset or angry about something that triggers me, I know I can reach them out for support. I’ve made a lot of good memories during my nearly 10 years there. I would hate to leave this school because I’ve met a lot of good friends, and I wouldn’t want to leave them behind.nnSome things I enjoy doing include playing sports, hanging out with friends, making jokes, and checking out people’s heights though I might stop my habit of checking out people’s heights soon as it annoys some people, depending on my mind. I hate people who are mean or selfish to my friends. I encourage them to ignore them to prevent bullying and harassment. There are sometimes ups and downs, but overall, this is a good school for kids and teens with autism, like me, to receive their education. I’d give this school a 9 out of 10.nnTo those who hated Eastern Ranges School, I can respect their opinions as long as they respect mine back since I really like that school and have been there for nearly 10 years, although I sometimes say that I hate it, it’s just that I get angry and I can’t control what I say.nnOk, that wraps up my review! Peace out everyone!
This is Tylah Legg on a different account. The last rating I did 5 years ago is completely irrelevant now since I no longer go there because I have finished school. I give this school 3 stars now because it was both good and bad. There have been lots of ups and downs. But, the best part was having amazing friends and teachers. To all of the teachers and students there, farewell and love y’all.
Greetings everyone, I’m Amaya and I’m a year 11 student and I will be telling about my honest opinion about Eastern Ranges School. I really don’t like it anymore. It’s really the best thing for people that has autism to have fun learning there. What I mainly like about that school is I like to hangout with my best friends and do fun activities like excursions, cooking, performing, art and sport and all that. What I hate about the school is doing boring school work. It gets boring all the time. I hate when everything is changing in the school. Is the horrible thing to do for the school and the environment. These years has been tough for me. I’ve been bullied basically since I was in prep. They would make fun of me, hurt me and just threaten me too. I really do miss my favorite teachers that was at that school. They helped me so much and they would make me feel better everyday and gives me good advice for my career. Some teachers don’t really care about some students but that’s their choice if they don’t or do want to care. That’s it about my review hope you guys have a lovely day bye
I reviewed this school couple of years ago and is interesting my review has vanished. I originally enquired about new enrollment for my child and got told I'd have 2 weeks wait for call back. Waited 6 weeks after zero contact and then rang back. Got put on hold because the admin didn't have the paperwork on her and went to go look for it, in the meantime another male picked up the line , realised I was not the correct person he was meaning to speak to and hung up without apology or any communication. I had to ring again and told that I had to wait another 2 weeks. I rang back at 2 weeks and kept leaving messages for the enrollment officer to contact me , tried a few times again. After again zero contact weeks later I gave up at that point and finally got a call back 6 months later, after my child was already enrolled at another school. At the same time I was enrolling my kinder aged child with the local kindergarten and was able to get immediate call backs for my enquiries and constant communication thereafter. Found Eastern rangers completely slack in their professionalism and communication , compared to a local council enrollment officer who handles all the kinder enrollments in her region. I am glad I didn't put my child in that school , first impressions were terrible and could never trust them to care for my child with that level of slackness. Have heard other parents also share negative thoughts of this school since, so I'm glad I made the right decision.
Do not listen when you wanna move class, there was annoying person in that class l in of next year. Do not go to that schoolnNo
