Just sitting on the bench opposite the Jetty watching people walking, cyclists riding, and vehicles traveling past the street.nQuite a beautiful experience sitting under the shade of a very old and gnarled tree with a magpie waiting for us to take its picture.nWe also saw many big and small motor boats passing near the Jetty going from or into Fremantle.
Reasonably okay fishing area but be wary of losing your hooks and a sinkers. Lots of snags. Plenty of great boats to watch as they head past the bridge.
Local fishing spot on river, adjacent to cafe..nFishing is not so good but the cafe across the road is very good.. popular for breakfast and coffee on Sunday.
A great place to visit for a fish & check out the Fremantle ContainerBow & Naval Store Karken mural. Also stop & have a coffee & bite to eat at the Kiosk cafe.
Nice meal and drinks with a view
