Such a shame that a functional semiheritage station like East Ipswich goes through the EXPENSIVE transformation process..leaving  commuters more disadvantaged!nLike..the exit gate allowing quick exit from train to home changed. A long walkway nownalong the track route to that same exit gate is unsafe at night..considering the crime rate in that spot!nnAlso...now unmanned..toilets locked

Very new & clean. But shocking for shelter in the rain. Even the overhead walkway gets drenched. No decent cover from Queensland's storms or for the hot sun if you are heading toward lpswich. And the acess from the station platform into the lift on that side gets drenched by rain coming in from above. We still have to wait for trains then embark & disembark to complete our journeys. Maybe in new station designs have the architects consider safe dry shelter for commuters? Perhaps the lower portion of the overhead walkways have mesh & a perspex panel attached outside.

Renovations done and it looks superb. Elevators for disabled people available. Nice and clean.

Close for us to get to Brisbane.

It was a good station bit small and dosnt offer much hot food options
