Very seamless experience from booking, collecting and returning the car. Clarified with them on how toll roads will be charged, and they explained that just drive normally and they will follow up with an invoice and the amount will be charged to the credit card used for the booking. There is also a free shuttle service to/from the airport after dropping off the car, which we took advantage of. The rental rates are also competitive with other big-name chains and the car I got was new and clean. Had a pleasant experience overall and will rent again in the future.

Second time we rented with them! We rented a car for 3 days and got full coverage insurance thank goodness I hate driving in Sydney. We booked online. We got a shuttle service to the location, the service was great, nice people, super easy to get the car. Took less than 10 mins. We got a Kia with am extra full tank and with the amount we drove, we only used like 1 bar of petrol. And when we were done we handed back the keys and got shuttled back to the airport right at our terminal. Had to call and inform them of an accident with no damage to the vehicle and they were calm and informative with that too.

The service was great easy to book, car was very clean and tidy. Pick up and drop off in the shuttle bus was efficient and friendly. Staff checking me in and out were so lovely, friendly and efficient. I'll be using this company again and again. Thank you for such a seamless efficient friendly service.

A pleasant experience renting at East Coast Car Rentals. The car is well-maintained and did not give us any issue during the trip. The check-in and check-out were smooth as well. If any suggestion, it will be: 1. Share some guide on how to reach the office my fren drove me to the office when I arrived at SYD instead of taking shuttle bus and it took us a while to locate the entrance to the building. 2. A different channel to contact office / shuttle like messenger call, whatsapp call, etc.. I didn't have Australia number when I was there, just my data SIM. 3. The e-tag is very convenient to pay tolls. But after the trip, it will be better to have one consolidated receipt rather than sending multiple ones. Otherwise, the next time I'm in Sydney, would love to rent from East Coast again. Thank you!

Most professional rental company I met before . Fuss free as they take all photos and video before release and after return the car. Shuttle bus is punctual. Staff is very friendly. Car is very clean and good condition with full function such as camera and cruise control.

Seems so affordable – it’s a scam If you’re like us, you are considering East Coast Rentals because they offer really affordable prices. I’m here to warn you so you don’t fall into the scam they are running on so many customers. East Coast Rentals business model involves uncharging customers for almost invisible scratches to make up for the cheap prices they use to lure you in. We rented two cars during our trip in Australia. We didn’t decide to get the insurance because it seemed expensive $300 and we were willing to take the risk. When we returned our first car, they found a scratch so tiny my mom had to put her glasses on to find it, and a photo barely picks it up. They told us that they’d need to put a $4,400 hold on our card until they could evaluate the cost. With our second car we decided to get the insurance, because we didn’t trust them. When we returned it they again found a minuscule scratch but couldn’t charge us anymore than they already had. I cannot stress enough how small these scratches were. We’ve rented cars many times and never had someone be so nitpicky. Today I got an email back telling us that we will be charged AU $800 for this scratch and I am livid! They seem to be charging me for replacing the front bumper, along with the three days ?! the car was out of use. Upon looking up their reviews on travel sites, I’ve found several other people who had the same experience. Don’t fall for it. Save yourself money and find another company.

We hired a car for four days and the service we received was excellent. There was a shuttle van waiting for us at the Sydney airport on arrival. They were very patient as we got delayed to come out from the airport. We were then taken to the East Coast Car Rental office and was given a brand new SUV which was spotlessly clean. The staff in the office was very polite and explained all T & C before I made the payment. Even the toll charges are sent on a daily basis, as and when they get the toll fees. On the day we returned the vehicle, there was a shuttle service at their office to drop us off to the airport. Both drivers in the shuttle were very helpful and courteous. I would recommend ECCR to anyone.

rented Hyundai Kona fr a week during my trip to Sydney and it was an awesome seamless experience all in all! the car was clean and fairly new. great front of house service. affordable and worthy especially if your itinerary involves lots of travel far out of town! will totally recommend checking out east coast car rentals to anyone visiting the city!

Needed a car for a day whilst in Sydney . Checked prices of various car companies. East Coast had very competitive costings. They were located near the hotel I was staying at in Mascot. Very easy and quick to book a vehicle on-line. Walked over to the depot on the day and collected the vehicle with no problems. Everything very fluid and hassle free. Dropped car off at same location in the evening. Car was well presented and clean. Highly recommend to anyone needing a rental car.

During the booking, my credit card has error but I get support very kindly. And check out my car, calculated total cost and invoice is different but staff will checked soon and get refund very smooth. Also car is very clean and looks nice. Reasonable price but good service. I will strongly recommend east coast car rental. Thank you again.
