I once wrote an unfavourable review about this medical center, I take those words back and eat humble pie. After shocking experiences at 3 different medical centers with uncaring doctors, who told me i have too much wrong and to go somewhere else, plus got angry because consultation went beyond 10 minutes. All I can say is thank God I'm back in the hands of Eagleby Medical Center, it may not be the poshest place, but the doctors here are a cut above the rest. If you have to wait longer, it's because the doctors here are doing a thorough job and not pushing patients out on the 10 minute mark. Well done doctors and staff you deserve big respect.
Waited close to hour to get a form of birth control out which was confirmed on the phone TWICE that they could I was there early so fault walked in to get it done and they said they COULD NOT DO IT. No one’s fault however admin need to be educated on what birth control procedures they offer so it doesn’t happen to anyone else. *they don’t do IUD’s*
I have worked in the medical field for almost 40 years .. and never .. and I mean never have I ever been spoken to as rudely as what I had been by that female on the reception desk .. Seriously I think that she should consider going on a long holiday and have an attitude adjustment !!!
Absolutely disgusting service at their reception desk. My partner was supposed tp revieve a call from one of the Dr's there yesterday and had phoned a few times through the week to double check to confirm the appointment which was booked. No appointment and she phoned this morning only to be told it was her fault and that they, "see upwards of 50,000 patients a year so don't expect anything from them." She gets attacked regularly from the guy that works there even when showing up on time for appointments being told to show up earlier so she doesn't have to wait in the waiting rpom for 2 hours which has happened You're a medical practise, ACT LIKE ONE AND CARE FOR YoUR PATIENTS!!!
This surgery needs new reception staff. It saddens me to see such brilliant drs but the face of this surgery is disgusting and ruins the look of the professional above and beyond service you receive via the drs. Eagleby this is not the face of the business you deserve nor want
I called in as I needed HELP and was hoping to speak to the Doctor as there was a health concern. Female receptionist was very rude and refused to link to doctor as "doctor is busy with a patient". Rang again to speak to the Dr again about 30 minutes later and the receptionist decided to just hang up on my call as she found it annoying asking 2nd time. She needs to stop acting like a gatekeeper of doctors. You are paid to do your job in helping your doctors and also other health practitioner to provide health services to clients. Receptionists are not a doctor nor doctor's personal manager. Please if you see this review management, please educate all your receptionist to step down their ego and attitude as this is quite worrying. If this happens again will def look into further action in regards to the receptionist as I do not want to waste my time on uneducated people. **EDITED, THIS HAPPENED ON 17th of September in the morning to afternoon time.
Dr Lyons is amazing doctor who is actually caring and listening to patient. Waiting time is normally long but worth to wait and see him rather than see the doctor who is not caring and does not know what they are doing. Recommend Dr Edina who are looking for female doctor regarding to women health. She is lovely and friendly. Staffs are nice as well.
Dr Lyons has been my family GP for years. He is caring, highly skilled and thorough. As a patient you get heard and looked after like the good old fashioned way when doctors weren't in a rush to end the session and move on to the next patient. I would highly recommend visiting the Eagleby Clinic. Their staff are always friendly and courteous. There is also a pathology conveniently located inside the clinic in case you need their services.
I've been to Eagleby Medical Centre on many occasions in 2019 and have found the service, nurses and doctors to be outstanding, caring and very helpful. I recommend Eagleby Medical Centre for general medical advise and service through to more complex procedures. I have recently had a cyst removed in the surgery and it was painless, quick and efficient. All the staff were very supportive during my recovery and it was taken care of much faster than visiting a specialist.
Apart from Dr Lyons fantastic doctor I wouldn't recommend going here. My daughter went today at appointed time. The doctor couldn't take her bar out, which she needed done for surgery in 3days. Also asked to see a counselor after a long-term relationship break-up. He was unable to refer her or do a mental health plan, or take the bar out- even with a pre-booked appt. We walked out in under 5mins with nothing. Wearing a suit and looking respectful doesn't make you a caring, legitimate doctor. I'd warned my daughter once we arrived and saw he was the only doctor on that her appointment was in vain. I'd had previous dealings myself with this doctor. Doctors also have a duty of care- this doctor left my daughter with no help, medication, referral while under extreme depression and duress. And she travelled an hour to see him. Disgusting!
