I took my Dyson V10 in for a new battery, lovely staff member told me it would be $149 and suggested I had a service as well for an extra $50.nnPicked it up a day later and chargedit up overnight, got under 10 seconds out of it on full power before it died.nnCalled customer service and they said that that looking at the notes on the system the battery hadn't even been replaced and that they were out of stock.nnDisappointed that I wasn't told this when I picked it up since that is what I paid for!nnNow waiting for a battery to come in the mail for me to install myself.
My Dyson V15 Stick Vacuum attachment, the motorbar cleaner head, was leaving streaks on my hardwood floors.nnI brought it into Camberwell and the customer service was wonderful! The kind lady I apologise for not knowing her name showed me the problem, which was a damaged roller wheel, and helped resolve the issue.nnI am so impressed with the customer service and I will happily recommend Dyson.
​Pretty unimpressed. Went into the Dyson Camberwell store on Saturday to buy a vacuum filter, $19.00. Saw on my bank statement the next day they have charged me $199.00. Called Dyson support and they advised me to go back to the store not my mistake, it's an hour trip to get there and back. Spent 15 mins on the phone, will take approx 10 days to get a refund which is fairly ridiculous. I've got 2 vacuums, 2 tower fans and an Airwrap & this is how they treat customers. Mistakes happen, but fix it more appropriately without inconveniencing customers!!
Today, I visited the Dyson Camberwell branch with high expectations. At the cashier, the receipt shows the name Brodie, but I was initially greeted by another woman. However, a different staff member with that name came out and, unfortunately, seemed disinterested and unmotivated while showing me how to use the hair styler.nnI came in hoping for a positive experience and heartfelt service, but I left feeling very disappointed. Despite purchasing an expensive hair styler, the service I received did not reflect the premium quality I was expecting.nnAdditionally, the complimentary brush included was not the one shown on the website promotion — it was a different one, which added to my dissatisfaction. I made a special trip to the store but now regret not ordering online instead.nnOveralls, today’s experience was quite disappointing.
I received a Dyson hairdryer as a gift, but I already had one, so I decided to exchange it for a vacuum.nnI called Dyson’s customer service, unsure about their exchange policy. They directed me to their online support, where I was informed that they only offer refunds, not exchanges. This was unusual, as I’d never heard of such a policy from any retail store. However, since I had the gift receipt from the store, I accepted it.nnThe online support representative mentioned that they could refund to a different card, but it would take 14 days to receive the money. I didn’t mind, as we still wanted the vacuum.nnOn my next day off, I drove 40 minutes to the store to request a refund. They refused, stating that I didn’t have the original card used for the purchase. I explained that it was a gift, and the gift receipt was valid. They set me up with online support again, and this time, they listened to my conversation with the previous support representative. Even they did informed me that they could refund me to a different card, but that was no longer the case.nnI asked the option to exchange the product for another Dyson item, which was refused. I suggested a store credit or gift card, but both were declined.nnI was frustrated and confused by the lack of flexibility in their return policy. I checked their website, but it didn’t specify that only the original card could be used for returns.nnI believe their return policy needs to be reassessed. I’ll make sure everyone we know is aware of this issue and will never purchase a Dyson product again.
