We bought a Dyson because they are a quality machine that goes forever. Unfortunately, Dyson's service centre doesn't care that your older machine is still alive and kicking, because once your machine hits a certain age, they just won't touch it. There's nothing wrong with our DC41 Animal... was just after a general service to keep it in good nick. But it's a discontinued model so Dyson refuses to help out. BUT... they will offer me a discount on a new vacuum cleaner even tho I already have a perfectly good one. What a scam. ** Response to the owner: your response doesn't address my feedback. I get the need to retire machines. What I find unreasonable is that your company will say at point of sale that you stand by your machines, but when it comes to servicing an older one, you drop us like a hot potato. If Kirby can still service 20yo machines, I have no idea why Dyson can't. If a parts replacement comes up during a standard service, let the customer know and give them the choice of what to do. Rejecting an older machine which wasn't cheap to buy! and offering a discount on a new one is just poor form and assumes we all have money to burn.
Great experience yesterday at the centre. Cordless V10 vacuum stopped working and the service centre had it fixed within 5 minutes. It was out of manufacturer warranty, but there was still no charge. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable :
Dyson knows the true meaning of good customer service. This is why all of my family uses their products, they know that they will always do their absolute best to try and solve their problems. One of their lovely customer service representatives, Miray, helped us so much and solved our problem within 2 minutes. I will always buy from them and would recommend you do too!
Very helpful lady. Took vac out of car for me. Apparently you do not have replacements for my older Dyson but helpful lady unblocked it and replaced it back in my car. Was nice for a change to have that type of service
The Dyson service is very very good. They fix faults on the spot with no questions asked. Polite, helpful, brilliant. Dyson's are expensive but the service makes them cheap. Thank you Osborne Park Dyson.
1 took 2 vacs into the store. Cordless not working plug in not working properly. Both out of warranty. Fixed both in 10 mins, no charge. Completely destroyed my preconceptions Thank you Dyson people
