The staff here are always so helpful and kind, I’m really great full especially today I came in to buy a book for myself before work and asked if they had it and the guy let me know where it was then grabbed it for me making it easier for me before work I was so great full
They should just get a proper aircon.. 27 degrees plus for reading books is not cool yo. Sales will go down also obviously..
other than the great selection of books, they have a section for great gift ideas. also, a corner with official Moleskine stuff. do watch out for their clearance sale section too - there's the occasional bargains on some really good books/items
Dymocks is of Perth's two remaining brick and mortar book stores, the other being Boffins. It is centrally located on Hay Street and caters for popular books. It is not known for its stock of technical books. On the other hand, if you are after technical books, then you will have a better chance of finding it in Boffins.
A great bookshop with a great variety of books. I always head for the history section which holds everything I search for. Perth city centre has a great shortage of bookshops but this dymocks has been there for many years and I recommend it.
When we entered Dymocks the lady took us straight to what we were looking for, wonderful service.
Located in CBD. Easy access. Not a large bookshop, but wide ranges of books and stationery. Comfortable to shop. Display products clearly and tidy. Easy to find what I want. Staff's attitude was good. Staff, for hygiene, remember hand sanitising after touching your mouth or norse please, before contact with anyone or handling products. Thanks
It's ok there's a lot of different kind of books. I think it's expensive. I love marketing books and there aren't many.
Staff member wanted to see my mask exemption. She did not identify herself as having any medical qualifications to be able to breech the discrimination act and demand to see the exemption. she herself wasn’t wearing her mask correctly but felt it was her right to judge another. We left without purchasing the books we were after. The shop policy of discrimination cost them an $80 sale! We then went to Kmart where the Staff member was respectful and didn’t demand to see the exemption rather taking my word for it and understanding everyone is different!
Very helpful but didn't have what I was looking for
