What a great place, great vibe, great food and finally someone that can poor a real drink! Dusty's restaurant was such a great experience even though we were just passing through ipswich, i would definitely do a detour in my trip just to come back and eat there!
Very enjoyable great company. Great customer service. Lovely CD music playing this evening and food was just what the Dr ordered. Nice atmosphere also. Wow the dessert looks yummy wish I had got one now.
Fantastic food, excellent serving portions and reasonable prices. Service was excellent, friendly attentive and intuitive. Love the location looking out over the rail yards. A couple of tweaks to the location would get another star from us. A few more outdoor plants and maybe some misting outdoor cooling fans or something, because their outdoor area really is nice, but in the queensland heat can suffer a bit. Definitely will be bringing the family back again.
I had read mixed reviews about this venue so I was a little hesitant. Firstly, the staff were great on what was a busy night. I found them friendly and courteous. The menu is basic pub style food with an American twist. My steak was quite good but not really medium rare as requested. The sides of salad and fries were predictable ordinary. French fries always struggle to enhance any meal and this no exception. The mushroom sauce needs work to be classified as "Mushroom" All said and done the meal was reasonable value and delivered in a timely manner. The actual building is quite historic and worthy of a visit just for interest. Overall, you could do a lot worse but of course Dusty's could be even better.
We had a staff family dinner at this place. Location is great and the staff are friendly enough. Food is just OK just a normal pub meal nothing special about it, but we have to wait for 2 hours for orders to come out! Placed an order at just after 6:30pm at 8:30 we asked if they can just bring out the kids meal order, poor kids are too hungry! I’m not keen of going back, there are plenty more around with much better food and fast and reasonable food service.
What a great little place! Stopped in at lunch and had burgers that were cooked to perfection. Not often you get fresh hot chips with your meal, so we were delighted to get them fresh from the cooker. Can't wait to bring all of our friends to Dusty's.
The food is excellent with a nice selection of beers on tap. It is probably the first time I have ordered a steak that has not been overcooked. I will definitely be adding this to my list of favourite places in Ipswich.
Service was great, i did the reaper challenge which was awful but everyone was nice, and when i forgot to pay my bill from immense pain they sent a polite message and i paid it then haha. Food is usually very tasty, just hard to tell with that challenge hot sauce all over it.
myself and my partner had lunch at Dustys today. First impression was great, lovely comfortable setting and polite and friendly service. The menu was very very over prised. We both got the medium sized ribs and found that the size and meat on the ribs was minimum, disappointing when you're paying almost $40 each.
My partner and i had dinner here last nite. Being a saturday night it was very popular with a fair amount of people enjoying themselves, yet it was still very comfortable. Great atmosphere and you definetly get that american influence from the place. The food was fresh with good sized portions and reasonable prices. I had the deep fried onion rings as an entree and you could tell they were fresh as the onion still had bit of bite and allot of juice to them. With my partner being gluten intolerent there arent that many resteraunts she can go to that have a wide range for her to choose from. The chefs here at dustys are made every effort they could to give her a fantastic meal. One of the few places my partner can order a blue steak and it actually came out as a blue steak. Myself i had the smokey bbq ribs and i can honestly i had a food coma afterwards. All in all a great place to eat with great food and very friendly staff. We will definetly be going back again soon.
