The Durie Hill Elevator is good, cheap fun. For $2 each adult, one way, it's a neat wee experience. I would suggest taking the Elevator up, rather than down as the walkway can be a hot walk. The entrance is just across the Whanganui bridge, so don't let's Google maps fool you!
It's nice experience in Wanganui. Nice view become more beautiful with nice whether. Big parking. It has everything that u need on a good spot.
Five for the tower haven't been there in years so nice a view but that day hurricane winds won't take the 360 view away thou others had to walk up look out lift not working so not cool older people like that stuff

Lovely views on a stunning day
An interesting concept of public transportation, walk across the Town Bridge into a tunnel before going up through the hill in a lift. I'll be doing it again next time I am in Wanganui.
Nice walk up and down the stairs or an elevator ride $2 each way up to the top or down again
