Nicely kept park with open space and sitting places at north end of Coogee beach. Lot of shade, usually a pleasant breeze to cool a hot day. Lovely to hear the sea at work, breaking away at the cliffs. Be careful near the cliff edge if you have toddlers with you.
Dunningham Reserve is a very popular spot for tourists and locals to sit and have a picnic, sunbath and relax the whole year round. There is easy access to the north side of Coogee Beach as well as Giles Baths. You can find a shower at one of the stairways from the beach as well as public toilets. These, however are portable toilets. It would be nice to have a more permanent toilet block in this area. You will find the Bali Memorial at the top of the hill which is also along the path of the popular Eastern Suburbs Coastal Walk.
Fantastic views of the ocean, from a relaxing meandering walkway, with some hills to get the blood pumping. Windswept trees that look like bonsai, some protected rocky outcrops where you might spot a skink sunning on a rock.
Such an amazing place to be, although might be quite crowded in the weekends! Otherwise it’s great. The benches is pretty high for grandmas, so they have to climb it

Lovely views and nice place to relax. You get a nice view over Coogee beach and there's tons of grass for a picnic or whatever you had in mind. The headland is a really cool place to sit down and zone out with the whole Pacific Ocean in front of you, or even to watch the sunrise.
