Beautiful tiny garden. Calm surroundings. Received a very good service at the cafe. I tried their authentic tea, dumplings and buns. It was amazing! You must visit this place if you are ever in Dunedin.
The Chinese Gardens were such such a beautiful place to visit! The gardens were very beautiful although it was raining. There is also a gift shop and a few other things. There was a children's scavenger hunt as well and it kept our 8 year old very entertained. Definitely worth a visit next time your in Dunedin!
Wonderful, peaceful gardens. Highly reccomend the audio guide tour as not only does it teach you about the garden before you, but also the history of Chinese gardens.
Worth a look. Lots of interesting information about the construction of the gardens placed round the walls. Also interesting info about the history of Chinese immigration and NZ's reaction to it.
Cute and informative, we spent a little while there to unwind. There is some Chinese games too and lots of info about the Chinese population which moved to NZ back in the days. Recommended
Nice place but small. I suggest to the gift shop to offer photos with the traditional chinese costume
