Went there last night. Awful service. We had to get up and ask for wine glasses and also ask for water and service. When we got the water it had a fly in it. The waiter looked dirty dressed in a dirty menulog vest. Tables weren’t cleaned next to us so had to look at a dirty table all night. Restaurant wasn’t even busy so no excuse. Food average. Dirty restaurant. Would not recommend this place. Use to be good. We felt like a pest being there. Stay away.
Edited:increased rating as the food was quite tasty once it turned up but was quite late... Ordered a delivery and was given an estimated hour for delivery. Over Twenty minutes late to deliver and no answer upon calling to check on order. Hopefully it turns up at some stage... Even later...still not arrived, Very disappointed, will be going back to Ying Wah as the service is MUCH better. Delivery always turns up early and always answer the phone!!
Sorry guys Delivery, said 40 mins came in twenty which is good if you hungry for bland frozen and reheated almost soggy "crispy" chicken and pork, all the food was dry and tasteless even with the plumb sauce. I ate what I could and threw the rest in the bin. We felt very ill shortly after eating. All for the low, low price of $53. Good dumplings though. The Beef items on the menu and also the entrees are good but steer clear of the chicken and pork.
Ordered take away one afternoon, it was great. Ordered delivery one evening, it was great flavour, quick delivery, everything was fresh, hot, sweet, tasty, just as Chinese food should be. The whole family loved it. Can’t fault the rice, meat or vegetables. And we’ve tried every Chinese restaurant from Manly to Avalon. Our guaranteed family Friday night meal from now on. And Sat lunch if there’s any left over.
Food was great, nice and hot on arrival picked up my meal. However, Sweet and sour pork is not very nice wouldn't pick it again. Overall, food was good but wouldn't be my first priority.
This is our local "go to" Chinese Restaurant. Food is always great. Love dining in but home delivery is always fast, fresh, hot and tasty. Highly recommend.
Good value Chinese restaurant tucked away just off Sydney Road in Balgowlah. It was pretty busy when we went there - very popular with families, yet the service was still pretty good. Food was simple but tasty. If you have a copy of the Entertainment Book, I recommend you take it there to save a $ or 2.
Love Dumpling Inn, the food delicious, love the prawn toast, special fried rice, they also have a great selection of dim sum as well as other Chinese dishes, you are spoilt for choice, and you most order the deep fried icecream for dessert.
Lovely Australian Chinese food. Not too spicy, not too strong flavour. Lovely girl serving and the chef came out for a chat.
Good value Chinese restaurant hidden away in the heart of Balgowlah. This restaurant is a popular location for families with young children, given the traffic-free courtyard at the front, underneath the post office. The food itself was good, simple but effective. Would definitely revisit should we have a hankering for a Chinese in the future.
