This is the best ice-cream I’ve ever had. I had 2 vegan flavours: strawberry coconut lime and peanut butter cookie dough. It’s absolutely amazing! The peanut butter cookie dough is sweet but not too sweet and the strawberry coconut lime is fresh and light which is great to finish it off. I highly recommend Duck island Ice Cream.
This is my first time taking ice cream from them. We went there on Sunday afternoon, there was some people waiting before us but we didn't wait long. Fast service, friendly and tasty ice cream. I would recommend to my friends.
I can have the same salivating sensation in Hamilton and Wellington: always the queue, the anticipation, the difficulty picking from the large selection, the relaxed feed, then the desire to go back for more. The Flight is the best dish for quelling that desire - 8 flavours in one bowl.
Best ice cream I’ve had in North Island so far!! I am obsessed with the Pecan Butterscotch flavour. I could probably eat a whole tub in one sitting on my own. Cookies n cream and Choc chip cookie dough are also amazing.The Vegemite Toast special they had recently was surprisingly really good as well. Not a fan of the toasted marshmallow - not sure what I was thinking when I got this, I don’t even like marshmallows . Milk chocolate fudge also not so great, had bitter dark chocolate pieces in it? And also not very sweet or tasting of milk chocolate. Parents really liked the Boysenberry cheesecake.
Simply the best ice cream in Hamilton, no contest. Interesting flavors that taste great, and friendly staff who can talk knowledgeably about the products. Plenty of options for precisely how you want to destroy your diet plans, too! Just keep in mind that the queue can stretch far out the door, especially in good weather, so you can expect to be waiting a while unless you're lucky.
Awesome ice cream shop and experience, always have a variety of yummy and creative flavours available. Includes sorbet and offers tasting samples to try before you buy. A little more pricey than your average ice cream and often busy but definitely worthwhile for a treat.
Absolutely delicious currently vegan & gluten free due to allergies with my baby & they cater to people like us & it was absolutey makes me want to buy a tub next time they had a very good variety of flavors
Have a range of flavors that change daily, including vegan and gluten free. My favorite is the vegan coffee coconut cream but I've not had a bad one. Blueberry cheesecake, toasted marshmallow are good too
Best ice cream in Hamilton. Great if you want gluten free alternative. Some new flavours each time we go, and takeaway tubs always available. Friendly staff, good experiences here
This is really a super place to enjoy some really different flavors. Although a little expensive but you get something different and we bought dual scoops of different flavour especially the cheese cake was really cool. Would recommend anyday. Though if prices are little cheaper you can visit more frequently.
