If you enjoy a mix of salt and chlorine water a perfect place to enjoy a nice swim. Men change rooms clean and tidy, water temperature is on the warmer and higher side… with Birkenhead Point and the function venue next door parking can be a challenge ….
Quite the beautiful scenery from this place. Salt water pool, with a view! Other patrons swimming there are great, friendly and enjoyable company. The water was absolutely cold but in a refreshing sort of way.
Lovely salt water pool with generous lane sizes and picturesque views across the Parramatta River. Good clean facilities too - the nice warm shower after laps was a treat.
The pool itself is lovely but the management is horrendous. I've been coming here for years and about 50% of the time it's closed without any information being posted online on social media or their website.nnI'm posting this rating today because I've honestly just had enough. I walked 40 min with my baby to the pool in the heat after checking everything I could think of and calling at least 10 times over 2 hours because I knew that they are just that bad about giving people visibility of their hours. No one answered and the Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre children's area is closed, so I finally decided to give it a go.nnOn arrival, there was a poster stuck to the front door saying they were closed for the first 4 hours on Saturday morning. When I went in to ask why no one answered the phone, they said that they don't have enough staff to manage it.nnThe council and this centre need to do better for the people who live here and deserve to utilise the services on offer. I'm hoping that someone from their management team reads this. You are going to be the only viable option for families in our area this summer.nnDo better.
Drummoyne Swimming Centre is one of the best outdoor pools in Sydney! Set right on the water, it offers stunning views while you swim, you really can’t beat the location. The facilities are always clean, well maintained, and the staff are friendly and professional.nnIt’s a great spot for both casual swimmers and squads, with plenty of lanes and a relaxed community atmosphere. It’s also the home of the Drummoyne Devils Water Polo Club, which brings a great energy and sense of local pride to the pool.
