What can I say about this once in a lifetime trip except that drop bear are the best tour operators I've ever had the pleasure to meet! We were with Troy on our 3 day 2 night tour and he made visiting k'gari even more special by knowing exactly where to go at the right time. We were always where the sun was shining with the least amount of people, even having a few hours at Lake Mckenzie with not a single other tour group! He was so informative and a lot of fun, making our time on this special island feel like hanging out with a group of friends whilst teaching us the history of the area and a few life skills like how to throw a boomerang. I would book to go again in a heartbeat and it will always be with drop bear! Don't miss out.

These guys are amazing! We did the 2 day 1 night tour at K'gari and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Fuzzy (our great guide) taught us so many things about the past and present of the island and the Butchella people (which I don't think any other tour does). The accommodation at their beach house in the island is superb and we ate so much... A highlight of our travels around Australia without a doubt. I could go on but honestly, you should experience it. Thank you so much!

My husband and I did the overnight tour and it was incredible. We got to drive in Land Cruisers, we loved the independence and experience driving off road and on the sand.'Despite it raining the whole weekend, it didn't ruin our adventures-it made them better!! Our guide Corey was awesome-and insanely knowledgable and passionate about the island. It was a jam packed couple of days but we covered a good area of the island and saw beautiful parts of nature, and even 2 wild dingos! Swimming in Lake McKenzie and down Eli Creek were the highlights of the trip for us! They kept us well fed and we will remember this adventure and all the people we met for a long time to come. Highly recommended!

We've decided to join the Dropbear crew on a 3d/2n trip after hearing great stories from other travellers and we've now joined the fanbase! K'Gari is a beautiful island with breathtaking scenery but the knowledge of and respect for the Butchulla people and their way of living on the island makes it so much more than just scenery. Would recommend Dropbear to anyone visiting the island.

An incredible, educational, fun, eco friendly adventure through the most beautiful island. Troy, our guide was so knowledgeable, friendly and made our trip unique by using his local knowledge to avoid all the busy tourist traps. The off road driving was really cool and challenging, on the beach and in the rainforest. It was the best part of our whole holiday.
