Sunday Yum cha with the family.....fast service great food and all with a smile. Why go to Sydney for Yum Cha when we have the best on our door step.
We had dinner here tonight for our Anniversary and it was quite good, the food was tasty although my Wifes honey chicken needed more sauce and was a bit dry and the batter very crisp. My pork in plum sauce was absolutely amazing. On the down side I had all three causes brought to the table at the same time. The service was very good and friendly.
This is a good restaurant, the food is well above average Chinese and the staff are really good. The Yum Cha is good, I wouldn't say great but, it saves a trip to Sydney and is very tasty. A little expensive for the Yum Cha but, I think it is well worth it. Their standard food is really good. Totally recommended.
We used to be regulars but after $80 for a 6yr old, 8yr old and 1 adult for yum cha today we will not be back. The service has dropped to sub par as well waiting over 20min and 2 requests for Jelly at 12pm in a not even half full restaurant. So sad as it used to be great. may be the owner should reduce the ineffective over staffing and he can put the prices back to a reasonable price point
We've enjoyed multiple family meals here and always leave satisfied. All the western favourites are available, but the staff also gently e courage you to broaden your horizons to new and more traditional dishes. The meat and seafood is usually top notch, and you can expect anything on the specials menu to be particularly fresh. My personal favourite is and will always be the peaking duck in pancakes.
The best yum cha in town. Its a taste of china in central coast! So many food choices and you can order from the menu! Staff are very accommodating and child friendly. Especially Henry! Good steamed dishes and the spicy salt calamari is amazing.
Went for yum cha lunch with my Husband and 3 kids, and we didn't have much and it cost us $96. I wouldn't complain if I was the food was good but it wasn't. Will never go back. Could of had a really good lunch for that waste of money.
This place must be under new management. The food is fresher, the service more friendly, the furnishings updated... So much better! Not as authentic as Sydney's Chinatown perhaps, but still a good variety of tasty Chinese dishes to share and not outrageously priced. If you're trying to be healthy then stick to the steamed dumplings, greens and prawn rice noodles, as the majority of dishes are fried or have sweet sticky sauces. If you want to splurge on the calories, the fried chilli squid is very yummy!
Great food, good service, wide variety of food. Very accommodating of the clients I work with. Very happy to recommend this place for Yum Cha. Best to book ahead as there it is always full of people. They must be doing something right as they have been open for a very long time and are pretty much always full.
Took my wife and 2 kids and food was good however it wasn't until I got the $106.00 bill that I questioned whether it was worth it. Definitely not. Some things were priced $8.60 for 4 small steamed dumplings and the duck was $13. Overall I felt ripped off and would not go back. Don't recommend
