Dr Arora is the most wonderful doctor. She delivered my first child in December 2016 and with complications she remained calm and collected and knew exactly what she was doing and saved my life literally. The midwifes has all gone into a panic and she calmly and efficiently told them all what they needed to do and I am forever grateful. She will be my obstetrician for My second without a doubt. For the negative reviewers, if she made you wait for an appointment or had to rush out to deliver a baby meaning your appointment was cancelled, then that just goes to show she is dedicated to being there for the birth of every child and if it were you in labour and she had other appointments, you would hope she would be rushing to you to deliver your child. You have to learning to be patient and understand the magnitude of her job. I would recommend Dr Arora to anyone.

I see Dr Arora has some bad reviews and I find them wholly unsubstantiated in my experience. My wife and I only discovered late into our pregnancy that we were insured to deliver in a private hospital so we were grateful to have Dr Arora take us late notice. From there every consultant was polite and professional, her team were respectful and informative, as we are first time parents their ongoing support was appreciated. On the 13th of March we welcomed out little boy with Dr Arora expert help, she was kind and thoughtful throughout a stressful birth process and any decision she recommended during was explained to both of us before we went ahead During our stay in hospital Dr Arora helped set my wife up for her recovery and made her feel safe and secure. She went above and beyond every single step to make our pregnancy and delivery safe and easy. I could not recommend Dr Arora highly enough, five stars does not do her justice. We had an amazing experience with Dr Arora. Would reccommend this lovely lady to anyone giving birth. Very caring and professional and always doing her upmost to be available for all her patients. Always apologetic if running behind for appointments. We had our baby in Feb 2018 and Dr Arora and her team were amazing. I had some anxiety through my pregnancy and Dr Arora was very reassuring. Will have my second with her and reccommending her to everyone. Thank you Dr Arora! Rachel, Marcus and Baby Mia.

I honestly can’t rate Dr Poonam high enough and thank her enough. She is the most selfless and wonderful obstetrician I know. Helpful, informative and caring, she really wants the best for her patients and we have a beautiful baby girl because of her. You will be in good hands with Dr Poonam.

Avoid Dr Poonam Arora at all costs. Unprofessional in the extreme. Ran 1.5 hours late for the last appointment (and was late by varying degrees for every appointment leading up to this one) which would be understandable if she was called away for an emergency or a delivery but she was there greeting friends and family and making patients with appointments wait. Eventually, I had to leave and when I informed the receptionist I could not wait any longer and would need to reschedule the doctor saw me and was cold and indifferent. Not sure if incompetent or just lacks compassion but either way, best thing I did was find another doctor. Very poor communication and people skills, sent me for alot of tests - did not communicate results clearly or explain treatment options available. Left me feeling quite uncertain and overwhelmed. Wouldn't trust her to deliver my pizza let alone a baby. Wish I had read reviews here first as it seems to be a common occurrance. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.
