Dr Soosay is a fantastic integrative doctor. He is warm and professional plus exceptionally knowledgeable. He has helped me get to the bottom of a few things and which improved my everyday life greatly.
I have been working with Dr Soosay for around four years now, he has always been professional and insightful with helping me heal. I suffered with gut issues for several months before finding out I was fructose intolerant. I was recommended to go to a dietician by my local GP. I didn’t feel like this would address the actual problem I was having and found Dr Soosay online. Dr Soosay took the time to fully understand my problem - asking about diet, lifestyle, history etc - with a whole hour consultation at the beginning. Then more tests and then a course of action. I’ve been seeing him for about 3 months now. Completed a very strict diet and been compliant with the meds and supplements he’s recommended me. I’m now reintroducing normal foods and it’s going well. The diet is not easy and the appointments and supplements are not cheap but if you want to recover as I did rather than looking for a bandaid solution eg change my diet forever I highly recommend seeing Dr Soosay.
I came to Dr Soosay after serious gut issues started taking place. I could barely digest anything, and was eating the same 4 foods for months. I was losing weight rapidly. He was thorough and brought up a diagnosis that no one had before him. We got that tested, and he was right it was toxic mold. By getting to the root of my issue we could start treating it. I consider myself lucky for having gotten to him relatively early 5 months after my first symptom - I now know people can suffer from gut issues for years with bad diagnosis. I wish he was the first practitioner I went to - I would have saved myself those 5 months of symptoms and wrong diagnoses. 6 months after meeting with him for the first time, I'm back at 95%. Energy level and mood are so improved, I never could have believed it. I've tried eating a lot of things gluten, spicy, all FODMAPs and my stomach has been just fine, no issue at all. Still being careful but I'm happy to say I feel like I'm on the other side of this - thanks to Dr. Soosay's on-point treatment. I would 100% recommend him. He's not cheap and the tests/treatments might cost you - but I've noticed he never sent me to a test that wasn't impactful in diagnosing me, and never gave me a treatment "just to cover bases". You get what you pay for.
Dr Iggy Soosay is an incredible doctor, a man of integrity with the most calming energy. I’m sincerely and deeply grateful to Dr Iggy for gifting me my health back after suffering with Irritable Bowel Syndrome for 17 years. With Dr Iggy I was able to get to the root cause of my digestive illness and treat it accordingly.
Seeing any professional can be hit and miss and when it comes to Integrated GP's in Melbourne I've seen quite a few. Dr Soosay has in my opinion the most experience, the nicest manner and his staff have always been a delight. He treats my family and quite a few of our friends and everyone of us think the same about Dr Soosay. He's never let any of us down no matter how big or small our medical issues have been.
Surprised to see negative reviews listed against Soosay, my experience was life changing. You get what you pay for with his service and knowledge. He is extremely thorough in his investigation of whats going on in your body, but that cost, energy, and time was worth 100x more in the end for me. I have since recommended him to four other people in need of help around anything mental health/gut health. Could not recommend strongly enough.
I've tried many GP's in the past, but Dr Soosay is one of the best. Caring and considerate, he exhibits all the hallmarks of what doctors used to be. His holistic approach is of particular importance to me and inspires trust that my health is best in his hands. The staff are always friendly and supportive.
