My husband needed some dental work while we were visiting family in Hobart from Canada. He was fortunate to get an appointment with Dr Mathew Clougher. The atmosphere in the clinic is relaxed and professional. The team works well together and provides a very caring and comfortable atmosphere for patients. We have returned to Canada now but he was very impressed with and grateful for the quality of care he received at the Dental Pod.

The Dental Pod team are a cohesive group in Obart who are inspired to and actually deliver to their valued clients the highest quality dentistry services. The are experts in the field of holistic, integrative dentistry with knowledge and skills beyond the average business. Dirk is not only a highly trained professional across a broad range of dentistry skills including safe extraction of dangerous amalgam fillings , he is the most intuitive, sensitive and understanding Medical Professional in this field I have had the privilege to meet. Well done beautiful ones at the Dental Pod, awesome work.
I used to dread the Dentist but that's a thing of the past. Dental Pod offers me a natural, informative and affordable pathway for my ongoing Dental care. Dr Dirk has always explained clearly where my teeth are at and the procedure that is required on the day with my permission. Planning for the future is important and Dr Dirk has flagged some future work which I can prepare for with my health fund. The Dental assistants are an attentive fun team and I always find I am relaxed at the end of my appointment. I have referred my friends here because of my excellent experience and they're regulars now as well. I am eating better, my health is better without the amalgam fillings and Dr Dirk is just not allowed to retire.
Very happy to have located a holistic dentist. Dirk is friendly, considerate and thorough. He explains what is happening with your teeth and recommends without pressure any treatments necessary. Staff are friendly and helpful. 2 years later - Sadly Dirk has left, happily Matthew is fantastic. Went in with a toothache, left without one! Needed a root canal filling. Thought it would be another week or two for another appointment to start the whole procedure, but no, got onto it straight away. Done efficiently and pain free.
Dirk and his staff are excellent. Like most humans, I do not enjoy visiting the dentist, but the Dental Pod peeps do a great job of making things quick, painless and most of all easily understood. Dirk has invested in all the latest tech which makes having xrays so easy.
My partner and I were just here for professional teeth cleaning and are super happy! Very friendly and accommodating staff and dentists, top service and affordable as well. Definitely recommend!
Dirk is so calm and gentle. I’ve had several procedures from standard cleans, night guard fitting, fillings and amalgam removal at The Dental Pod and he always clearly explains everything he is about to do. He works carefully and efficiently, reassuring me all the way. The whole team are just delightful. Thank you for your service!
I am very impressed with Dental Pod. Dr Dirk Jacobsen is a very caring person who takes the time to explain every thing that is happening with the dental procedure he is doing for you. I have a great fear of dentists so this has been a great help to have a dentist I can trust. He is very gentle and caring . I would recommend him .
I highly recommend the Dental Pod. I always feel relaxed and at ease there. Dr. Dirk is incredibly gentle, thorough and takes the time to explain things well, never rushing. Its obvious that the team at Dental Pod value their customers immensely.
