The food was O.K, service was very good. We had chicken satay, salt and pepper calamari, fried rice, and a dish called "3 friends" which was a platter of barbecued octopus, pork, lamb, and salad. For three people the bill came to $72.00. We only drank the supplied water. The restaurant looks like an old house with indoor and outdoor seating. Pros : Excellent staff. Easy parking nearby. Meals arrived quickly. Cons : On the expensive side. Meat on the "3 friends" dish was dry Biggest complaint was the amount of Mosquitoes and flies buzzing around us, due to the open entrance. It made us leave leave hastily. It's one of those O.k Thai restaurants, that leaves you searching for a better one.
Nice, I'd recommend this restaurant. It's very possible to have a good meal here even if you don't eat any animal products. The food was tasty & well-prepared, and everyone in our group enjoyed it. We ate outdoors, which was spacious and quiet, and the indoors area was also really attractive. The staff were pleasant and attentive without hovering. The restaurant is BYO.
Situated in a renovated Federation house it is unique venue for a Thai restaurant. The food was good but the portion size maybe a bit on the smaller size for the price. Family friendly but book as space and tables limited.
We were served off food. It was some rotten Tofu which was mixed with the good one to make up the order. It was so bad that you could smell it from the plate. When we complained there was no outcome. All they said was "Sorry we have closed the account otherwise we could have given you a partial refund". The tables were sticky and the general cleaning was very disappointing. We were actually worried about getting sick. Stay away from this place.
Six of us ate for 50.00 per couple. 4 entrees x 6 pieces and 4 mains plus rice. Lovely old house. Meals were not large. Duck was sparse in Red Duck Curry but all very tasty.
As far as the food goes, it was excellent. We sat inside and it was so dam loud. I couldn’t hear my friends speak. The section we sat in was like a small room and I think with all the wooden floors, the noise just bounced around the room. Probably not somewhere you should go if your looking for a nice quiet dinner with your partner.
Above average Thai food. Entrees the best, meals are ok but could have more flavour. Set in an old house which looks good but means it can get quite loud inside. Cater well to children and large groups
Their food is always amazing, super fresh and the staff are lovely. They've got a new Take Away app which makes it wickedly easy to order dinner on the way home. Dangerous....
No ice available for wine coolers.. Had to drink wine that warmed throughout the night. Asked if outside heating could be turned on etc were sitting on balcony and were advised it was for 'Garden only'. Asked if we could sit in garden with heating on, replied with 'no'. Was a regular customer there but not one of the usual wait staff said 'hello' or 'welcome back'.. Take your money elsewhere peeps.. plenty of good Thai food elsewhere in Sutherland.
The sizzling lamb was unfresh and bland. The BBQ octopus was cold. Not to mention the portion is small...Very disappointed with the food tonight. It used to be good.
