Very good food and friendly staff. If you haven’t been, do yourself a favor to visit. You won’t regret it.
Had a good experience.nReally delicious persian food. Good value for money. Persian icecream was the best. Baba ganoush dip with bread was also nice.
Homey vibe and good menu selectionnLots of lamb dishes supplemented by some chicken and stews. Really like their dill rice very aromatic
Updated for visit on 11/4/2024nnTried the lamb shanks this time. It's was delicious. Had the saffron ice cream for dessert too. I like that the rose water is not too overpowering. It's a little too sweet for me but others may find it ok.nnDisappointed that the ghasemi dip was sold out. But that gives me the excuse to go back again soon! nn========nFirst time trying Persian food and I love it! We had the chicken fillet kebab and the chicken with barbarries.nnThe chicken fillet kebab was full of flavours. The meat was well marinated and it wasn't dry. Glad it was not made with the chicken breast. It come with saffron rice and there is a small side of salad and raw onions.nnThe chicken with barberries was good too. I love the barberries on the saffron rice. You get a whole beautifully cooked chicken leg. Also comes with salad and raw onions.nnWe also ordered the ghasemi dip. It's made with smoked eggplant. I have always loved baba ganoush but now my new fav is the. ghasemi. Comes with warm pita bread. Every mouthful was so delicious.nnThe restaurant is cosy. The table for two cen be squeezy if you intend to order mains and dips.nnFood portion was generous. We were able to takeaway the leftovers. Most importantly the quality of the food was great.nnI'm already intending to go back next week to try the other items in the menu.nnThere is ample parking just outside the restaurant. The carpark is just off Canterbury road. Better to park at the car park than along Canterbury road as the road is busy at all times. Stressful to parallel park along Canterbury road.
Returned back twice in 2 weeks!nWhat more can I say, absolutely scrumptious wholesome food, cooked with love
