I would recommend Doors Plus Footscray to anyone. We needed a bathroom door urgently due to our extreme circumstances. We contacted Doors Plus Footscray where we saw salesperson Jai, who listened to our situation. He organised the perfect door and it was installed eight days later, excellent. The results speak for themselves. Nice work Jai.

NEVER AGAIN!!! The whole process was a nightmare from the very beginning! The store was extremely disorganized and difficult to deal with,... It took 4 months for the doors to be installed after we paid the deposit (quoted 5-6 weeks) and once they were installed we were shocked with the final product. Everyone we have shown pictures to has said they have never seen anything so bad! Here is a list of just SOME of the issues we have had: - Once installed the Doors didn't close properly and couldn't be locked. - Outside bottom corners of the frame didn't meet allowing for water to get access and rot the wood,..... when we asked the doors plus carpenter about this he told us it was meant to be that way,...... - Glass Panels in doors were vastly different sizes - Some doors had round trim and some doors had square trim - inside plaster walls and outside Rendered wall were badly damaged in installation - Generally terrible workmanship and many other issues - The Trades people smoked in our house and left a pile of Cigarette butts on the ground - Left a huge pile of rubbish for us to clean up. (not just disposing of the old doors which is what we were advised) BUT THAT WASN'T THE WORST OF IT We immediately tried to get in contact with head office but they wouldn't speak to us,.... the complaints department wouldn't take our calls and would only speak to us via email. A week after installation the store manager and installers came back to look at the issues we were having,...... They screamed at us in our own home, threatened us, refused to leave our property when asked after repeated requests, even though i said i would call the police. They tried to extort us into paying the balance for a job that we were rightfully extremely unhappy with and refused to fix the problems until we did this,... (under consumer law we are with in our right to not pay for a job until it is completed to an acceptable standard) when we said we were not happy to pay until the issues were fixed the installers went out to their car and got tools and stood in our lounge room threatening to the the doors away RIGHT THEN unless we paid immediately. We were so frightened we went to the police right after they left and in hind sight i wish i had pressed charges. In the end we agreed with doors plus to take the doors as they were and not have doors plus back to fix them, although this is not the outcome we were after we did not feel comfortable having these people in our home again. At this point we are just happy that this ordeal is over and we will fix the doors at our own expense. We thought it was safer going with a large company,... to this day i can't believe what has happened and we have never receded an apologia from anyone. We truly regret trusting Doors plus

I was seriously looking at getting some work done by Doors Plus and to promote ballarat companie/s. I am glad I sighted the reviews, there is no way I will be getting work done by Doors Plus. Perhaps Melb might be the way to go...............

Worst company ever! Ordered a door replacement after they stuffed it up the first time. Terrible workmanship and the door coating was blemished. Would not refund. As they have a NO refund policy. Still would not replace, chased them for 3 months then just gave up. Numerous messages and email and still no joy. Avoid avoid avoid
