They just finished my set of stacker doors today. Karl installed it, and he has done an amazing job. It’s made our house look a lot better just from changing that old door to the ones we have today. So much better. Cheers!

Very pleased with the team at Door City Boondall service - Michael Sullivan was very helpful and patient in helping us to update the security on our house with the addition of new external doors and dead locks. Furthermore Door City's installer Carl was commendable in his willingness to accommodate our needs. Thank you Door City.

I'm writing this in the hope others can navigate their experience in buying doors better than I did. I have already provided constructive feedback to door city. I bought a front door from them in November 16. They were fine to deal with up to that point and the door looked good. After 2-3 months we noticed a lot of the stain was peeling off. I called the storeman who said he would organise someone to restain it for me. He did not. I made contact a number of time over the proceeding months with the only responses being that they would get into action very soon. They did not. I lodged a complaint with the office of fair trade and around July I got a response forwarded from the OFT from the general manager offering me a tin of stain to repair myself and blaming me for allowing excess sun exposure to the rapid degradation of the door. This was the first time I was offered insight into why the door degraded so rapidly. I spoke with caxton legal service who showed me that on the quote there was a small line about needing to seal the door after delivery which meant i didn't have a good chance of taking the matter further. However I feel door city should have communicated the need for this more than once and only in writing on the invoice. They have since updated their website which is a good start. However if door city were more willing to engage with me from the start it would have saved me a lot of time effort and damage to my front door

We have just had our double entry doors replaced by Door City at Zillmere and our experience with them was easy and smooth. After a lot of indecision on our part and a lot of patience on their part our doors arrived only one week later then expected and were installed without fuss and at a very professional level. Door City had all the answers to our questions and took time to explain things when asked. A week since our doors have gone in and I have had a follow up call to make sure we are happy and to book in some top up staining where the doors had to be shaved(no fault of theirs just a crocked entry). Several people passing by have stopped to admire the doors and we have had no hesitation in recommending Door City (Jai and Michael). BUT PLEASE WAIT FOR AN UPDATE-six or so months on we have got numerous problems with our doors. One has been on going for at least 3 months with the promise of correcting (more stain needed on doors that were trimmed). We move on to the timber panels within our glass sections splitting-I have been told that it is being looked at to determine if it is an adhesive problem but 4 weeks on and the problem getting worse I AM STILL CHASING THEM. They are not coming to me it is a continual one way chase. And then lastly we now have a lock that is not fitting properly, this could be the carpenters issue but still one that needs rectifying and once again I am on the chase. So we have moved from exceedingly happy to very disappointed. I will update this post when I have answers and you can all judge from then on if you want to use this company. Decision is always a personal one.

So my original review has been removed. Some of the content not allowed. What is the point of having reviews if you are not able to tell it as it happens. Door City Boondall showed nothing but bad customer service from the start to the end of my dealings with them. They just did not care. After accepting my money for door, lost the order and then after I chased them up stuffed up on doing measure up. Incompetent all round. Their installer Robert was fabulous.
