Doo-Bop Jazz Bar is Brisbane's latest live music venue dedicated to the love of all things jazz.

Story

Doo-Bop Jazz Bar has over 80 live music performances across its two levels every month.

Doo Bop Piano Bar is on ground level, and has free live music events Tuesday-Saturday from 5pm. Operating as a cafe by day, the Piano Bar transforms into a stylish Art Deco cocktail bar with tapas and tasting plates by night.

Doo Bop Jazz Bar is quintessentially jazz. In the subterranean basement you will find a large stage featuring a fully refurbished 1955 Steinway Model B grand piano from New York. Live jazz performances every night of the week from 6.30pm-10pm, with the Late Night Jam sessions from 10.30pm to 2.30am. All welcome!

I love this place. Downstairs is atmospheric and just what you wish a jazz club to be: lighting, seating, pictures, colours, bar, stage, food and drink selection - everything is perfect for an intimate evening listening to fantastic music. I wish I lived closer as I’d be there every week!

Always lovely to visit. Chill vibe with live jazz music. The security guard is a hoot! 5 stars just to that man at the door.
Great place for music. Acoustics are spot on. Bathrooms looks recently renovated, very clean establishment. The talent playing was really good. Drink service was a bit of a let Down. Took a long time to have a drink. I'll be back for sure!
The Doo-Bop Piano Bar is on ground level, has a very friendly atmosphere, presentation of local and international pianists, with solo and duo performances from 6pm. Delicious cocktails, tasty food and an awesome sing-a-long vibe.
Good fun but I prefer the downstairs to the upstairs. Less hassle if you book your table before a show.
Consistently great jazz club. 2 course meal & music for very reasonable prices. Have seen some fantastic local & interstate acts here.
