A fantastic pub. Rooms were basic but well maintained with shared amenities that have been renovated.nnThe food was very good and great value for money.nnThe service was excellent.nnLoved the live music on a Sunday arvo.
I can't comment on rooms I didn't stay. Pub is a great pub. We just missed Sunday afternoon band, so get up there by 3-5 . The menu was extensive. I went rib eye and prawns and loved it. People behind the bar were lovely and friendly. I pre-read reviews, and it pissed me off. It's a great pub feed. You're not rocking up to some freaking 5 star Michelin restaurant, you poxy wannabes , get over yourselves. Forgot photos : but huge support for small country pub !!
We booked for night stay as we drove around the region all day. As i was checked in i was taken to the room by a non accomodating lady staff, went through a stair located around the dirtiest part of their pub kitchen literally where their rubbish is in. Our room door have missing handle on the outside i had to insert the key and use it to pull the door close when going out, we stayed for about an hour and the beddings were giving us itch, very uncomfortable and when my wife went to use the shared bathroom to brush her teeth there was another guest proudly disposing and then thats when she decided to just check out from our one hour stay and just drove home for 3 hours at midnight than to sleep in their itchy beds and very uncomfortable deluxe room. Don't get fooled by the room description as it’s way way far from it.nI’d rather take the risk of driving at midnight with risk of kangaroos on the road than sleep in those itchy beds…nNever had a choice when I was booking as there were no available rooms anywhere hence i went for this one but never expected it to be that bad of an experience. Lesson learnt and never again, it was a waste of time and money.
Rooms were warm, clean and comfortable.nTheir service was friendly and helpful.nI had the scotch fillet for dinner and it was cooked perfectly per my request medium.
Fantastic burgers and enough fries to feed a family on each plate.. very delicious.. we will be going back sooner than we thought!!!
