We stopped at Dome for lack of other options all pubs in the area were shut - we expected good quality food and service and that's what we got. Added bonus was tables outside were aplenty and we parked our motorbikes under cover the vegetation on the side of the restaurant was hanging out and provided generous cover. My chicken parmigiana was decent salad was fresh and dressing was light and not overpowering - poached eggs came a touch overcooked for my friend's taste but overall food came out quick and nice. Coffee reached our table a tad cold espresso should be served piping hot - for the rest experience was ok no music playing outside hence the 3 stars for atmosphere. One of my friends ordered a chocolate and mint milkshake - served in its metal container- funnily enough it was only half full and was sent back - this time arrived with the correct measurements.
First time trying Dome for 5 years being in Australia and was surprised by the service,and food. The interior is beautiful and very retro which I really like. Would recommend for a relaxing lunch here:.
Every Day on my Week off I pop Into Dome Mundaring to get my Coffee on route to take the Dogs for a Walk. I thought it was time I did a shout out for this great team of people led by Peggy. They have done a wonderful Job and kept everything to a consistently high standard, they got through Covid and I’m sure In these days of entitled customers have to deal daily with Karen’s Male and Female. Sometimes good sometimes ok. Luck of the draw. Not really a vegan lovers place. If you want a car spot, pick your time. If your solo, eat up before the loo. Food disappears! Pleasant place to sit. If your veggie they take off the bits you can't eat but charge the same. Plenty of staff. Vegetarian options: Extremely limited! They don't really understand, 'no animal products'. Parking: Lucky if you get one. Time of day. The car pack is used by all shops, so not enough. There's always Hungry Jacks opposite for food. Dietary restrictions: Not all 'rednecks'. Dietary requirements come in many forms, religious, medical, conscience, allergies, preference. Australia 50 years behind UK.
Yeah, typical Dome. Nice enough, not amazing but ok. Car spots are tiny even for a small car, so look out for dings! No bag or box available for takeaway orders so you are on your own there. Good luck juggling it. Parking: Tiny car bays.
Great bacon & eggs breakfast. Also coffee is very good. Fast & efficient friendly staff with swift service. I have breakfast here regularly & read The West.
Love Dome coffee and this one was no different. Lots of parking and seating. Staff were very friendly and the coffee was hot and really nice. I got the extra shot in mine and it was yum!
The absolute worst! You can tell there's a bunch of kids out the back heating up pre made food which tastes like cardboard. They should be embarrassed to serve people "food" like this. Better of going to Hjs across the road. Would give 0 stars if I could because 1 star is to generous.
as a local, its nice to have somewhere to eat that is consistent, in both service, speed and food freshness and standards.... and the coffee is always good...
Good old reliable Dome, always get what you expect. Nice fast efficient service here.
