Nearly two years ago I bought my first investment property with the assistance of a buyers advocate from Domain Property Advocates. I was fairly time poor so couldn't research properties in significant detail  nor was I an expert in property, so thought recruiting a company like this would be a wise move. My biggest goal was to buy a property with high capital growth to help me then purchase subsequent properties in the future.
On the advice of a buyers advocate from Domain, I bought an apartment in South Yarra. They were lovely to work with and had incredibly good customer service. 
Unfortunately, nearly two years on the place hasn't grown in value and in retrospect it would have made a lot more sense to buy a place elsewhere. I'm now stuck with minimal equity in the investment property and am unable to move forward to buy anything else. In addition to paying over $10,000 for the advice!  I would recommend exercising caution to anyone who uses this company. I'm sure not all recommendations they make would end up like mine, but please just be careful.

We have used Domain for selling, purchasing and managing properties and in every transaction have nothing but excellent, professional and efficient service.

We have achieved great sale prices on the sale of two properties for which we used their services. The handled all transactions between ourselves and the nominated selling agent, guiding us the whole way with a minimum of fuss.

We enlisted them to buy a property for our SMSF and they found us a ripper - super low maintenance and easily rented. Our tenant loves it! And the growth in value has been excellent.

We use Domains property management services on all three properties in our portfolio and time and again they continue to prove themselves as leaders in their field. Our tenants could not be happier, and we rest assured our properties are looked after professionally.
