The Oriental Chef has always been our favourite Chinese takeaway. But something has changed, it’s definitely not the same. 1 Ordering food for delivery is impossible, we gave up and collected it we only live a few streets away. 2 The menu I collected from outside the shop earlier today is out of date the actual prices are more expensive and some dishes are no longer available. 3 The food was lukewarm and slimy. 4 Three items were missing. We called to ask where the missing items were only to be told quite rudely we must had been given them! Such a shame. Can anyone recommend a good local Chinese takeaway?
Something has changed with this take away. We have regularly had Chinese takeaway from these guys and it has been wonderful. Tonight we ordered and the food was terrible. Some of the noodles tasted like they had been in the freezer. The beef Mongolian was slimy, oily and revolting. I think there are new owners and it has been taken over. avoid this place at all costs.
Not sure what just happened. Ordered our regular take away favorites, collected and brough them home. Apart from the Won Ton soup the other three dishes was nothing like what we ordered. Wife who collected the order told me that they seemed disordered, well if our order was anything to go by, that was an understatement. Looks like we will have to find another Chinese restaurant/take away. The other dishes were terrible. Should have packed them up and taking them back but couldn't be bothered with the drive. Sorry, you have just lost a regular customer.

A good Chinese takeaway is always worth knowing about. This is an excellent place for all those favourites you expect to find-but ,alas , no green beans.A usual staple of Chinese cuisine Parking: This shopping centre has the ridiculous 1 hour parking restriction which doesn't allow for much activity if you're dining in or visiting any other places-such as hairdresser , massage , coffee shop etc.

Beautiful food cooked fresh in front of you. Super delicious, even my two boys who can be a bit picky wolfed it down. We'll be heading back!Food: 5/5
Tried this restaurant for the first time tonight and I can guarantee I'll be back! The food was extremely nice, well presented, reasonably well priced. The staff were friendly and seemed to be a very busy business.......I can highly recommend and by far the best Chinese food you'll find in the Kingston/ Channel area.
We visited this place when we want to have Malaysian - Chinese dishes. We tried different dishes and all were delicious. The size is generous, the staff are friendly and helpful. The place is bit small can accommodate around 8-10 ppl only so if you plan to have dine in, better to reserve the seat.
Consistently good food at a reasonable price. Friendly service. Our go to for takeaway when we can't be bothered cooking.
