It's a good venue for corporate functions. The food was pretty good, they have gluten free and vegetarian options as well as the ability to cater to various other dietary requirements. The parking validation machine is located at the bar inside the venue. It gives a discount rate for the nearby Wilson Parking station opposite Doltone House - Jones Bay Wharf. I had validated my ticket but it still cost $26 which was the standard evening rate. This car park is very narrow inside with tight spots. I'd recommend parking at the Star instead which is closer to Doltone House - Darling Island.
Went to the Annual Mates in Construction lunch for its 10-year celebration. It was absolutely flawless, from the food to the entertainment. 10 out of 10 for service. The food was amazing, staff were great as well always smiling, the organisers of this event should be really proud. I've been to a lot of lunches for charity and work related things, and this was 1 of the best by far. Thank you for a great event
Sales conference was what we were there for. It was a great venue although trap for young players is that there are actually two parts to Doltone and they're about 400m apart. Spacious and connected to other facilities but across the street from The Star Casino and The Star Grand Hotel which is where I was staying. Food catered was fine and conversion from conference to gala dinner on the last night was pretty cool. Highly recommended.
Excellent event space. I have hosted many events here. One of the best in Australia.
Large party/banquet place. Our gathering included 14 tables = ~ 120 people. A finger food before party could be done with more menu items. Great inclusion of casino games!
A wonderful venue for a formal, wedding or corporate function. Nice outdoor seating area with inviting views of the city skyline. A great place for some fresh air and to have a chat in a more quiet location. Interiors are fresh and modern and can be individually styled. Food was amazing, mouth watering mains and a decedent selection of dessert options. Parking station located close by.
Christmas Party and a great time was had by all. Never been and enjoyed
the layout of this venue is heaps confusing, facing the road is the back of the building and the front faces the water? the staff are great and food was delicious and served in a very professional manner.
Great water front location for events. Easy access via light rail. Only 2 min away from the Star casino.
Excellence in catering and service. Doltone House has been leaders in hospitality for as long as I can remember. I've worked at their venues from time since the 1990s and always looked forward to my return. Specialising in hosting premier special events including weddings, corporate and just about any occasion worth celebrating.
