We were apprehensive after some of the reviews, but we found the hotel room to be very clean, with renovated bathroom. Crisp clean sheets, new soft towels. Friendly front staff with The Moreland pub on the corner with its amazing Roman decor, complete with a statue of David. Nice breaky place on opposite corner.Rooms: 3/5
Very tidy rooms and facility. Service staff are very friendly and were able to accommodate late check in and check out. Great location just off Sydney road and easy access to the city. Would stay here again. Rooms: Very tidy and spacious. The rgb shower head was an interesting touch. Walkability: Very close to a major tram stop and train station. Good location
Place is very old and needs to be renovated ASAP. Crackes, scratches and holes everywhere! Half of the wall was painted. Floor looked like it wasn't vacuume cleaned since the hotel was established. Mouldy shower! I understand that it was cheap, but it's so below any standards. For $140 per night you can find better place. Rooms: Very old, needs good cleaning and renovation
Convenient location, close to city. Cheap, basic and reasonably clean bedroom with firm mattress. Bathroom was ok but shower had mould growing on it and didn't look like it had been cleaned properly for some time. Aircon worked, TV worked and there was a fridge and kettle. It was ok but I think I'll try somewhere else next time.Rooms: 2/5
The Brunswick Tower Hotel is a great place to stay - quiet, clean, friendly, comfortable. Everything is in good repair. The staff are really helpful. I will happily stay there again next time I'm in Melbourne.
Had a good night sleep. The rooms are clean & pleasant . The car park was great, a bit small getting in it with a trailer . It was a lock-up carpark at night . The carpark had a rear exit , made things easier in the morning, leaving . Close to pub & restaurants, Cafe as well .Rooms: 3/5
Good all round experience. Good value 3 star stay. Exhaust fan in bathroom was very noisy. Sounds like it's about to die. Didn't see anyone at checkout to tell them in person. Would stay again.Rooms: 4/5
For a quick, cheap, basic place to lay your head, this the place for you. On-site secure parking. Split system AC in room along with all the usual amenities. Nothing special, nothing to complain about.Rooms: 4/5
Room was clean and tidy enough. Could have more amenities but for the price we were happy. The Staff were fantastic. We were staying their temporarily due to a house fire, we didn't know how long we'd need to stay there, so they held our room and let us pay daily without losing the room. Much appreciated.Rooms: 4/5
Was a bit concerned about security as the outside doors were often open day and night when they were supposed to be locked and room door locks were pretty rickety affairs. My son obviously thought same as he walked me to my room each night. Other than that room was functional and bed comfy.Rooms: 3/5
