Super authentic Italian cuisine! We enjoyed the Meat Lovers Pizza +Anchovies, Seafood marinara, Stracciatella soup. Every dish was heavenly and we ended our meal with Tiramisu and Hazelnut gelato We were promptly attended to and served our dishes in under 20 minutes. Will be back the next time we visit Sydney!
A sad shadow of what was once a packed delicious place to eat. Waited over an hour for our food to come out one by one, the first had finished before my main and the pizza to share came out.This was despite there only being people on three tables. No atmosphere but you get to hear the chef yelling at the other cooks. Pizza is average but the pasta is excellent but not worth the wait and generally bad service.
I’m sure there are people who read reviews prior to going to a restaurant and I did the same prior to visiting Dolcissimo. What some reviews left out is how authentic and laid back this restaurant is. We were ushered to a table quite quick and it took us a good few mins to decide which dishes to pick coz you’d want to order everything. Once we ordered the food and drinks they do serve alcohol we had time to relax and nibble on bread. I recon it took around 15-20 mins for the food to arrive and it was delicious. I read a few reviews about how long the food took but we didn’t care at all. We were not in a rush and with food like that it’s worth the wait. The chef is friendly and yes he’s Italian so you know you’re getting the real deal. We’ll definitely be going back
Closed at 9.15 on a Saturday night and wouldn’t let us place an order to pick up in person, even though their close time listed is 11pm, and the staff member who answered their phone said they were open till 9.30. Disappointing as we spent 30 minutes browsing and settled on this place, hoping to try it for the first time. I understand closing 2 hours early on a weeknight, but not on a Saturday especially when I could hear a busy restaurant in the background on the phone.
Absolutely disgraceful service. The chef was yelling at the staff & telling her that you don't know who I am. I will take you too rookwood cemetry.. The female staff member was scared out of her wits. Ordered two pizzas never got them at all. restaurant only had 10 people in it. Will never go back & never recommend to anybody. Worst place ever.
Big Italian eatery with a huge menu. Multiple dining rooms with a different feel in each. The pizza is excellent, the pasta is simple but good in a way that's difficult to achieve at home. Tiramisu is really good! We dined early on a Saturday night 630. Didn't have the issues with a wait for food. The price is not cheap - but there is a decent amount of food per serve.

I haven’t been here since Covid… This restaurant has obviously changed hands… waitress was so bad. I left after ordering two drinks only.. Do yourself a favour. Just don’t go…such a shame after going here for 10 years…it’s a disgrace that they kept the name….waitress needs a new line of work…
Anniversary dinner so a special night. Food and service was outstanding. Woodfired pizza was perfect and so was the everything else. Will definitely go back again
Good Italian style food I'm not Italian do I can't say if it's authentic. Lots Of options. Seating a bit cramped but it's very popular Good was good price and great tasting
