Great dog spot, approx 200m out to water across dunes, shallow water and swimmable spots. Both a dune area with bushes and a sand flat area of running/playing near water. Fully fenced on the non-water side, the fence is only 30cm high in some areas so could easily be escaped but the main action is so far from this area and not a problem. No roads nearby, very safe spot, even for dogs with poor recall/urges to run. This place is great.

One of the best dog friendly beaches I have encountered. There is ample room to run around, poo bags are almost always available (check the middle gate if the more popular north and south entries are empty), the fences and gates are always secure and the people are relaxed and approachable. At low tide there is plenty of shallow water stretching out to sand banks for the little dogs, and for the big guys the far end drops off quite quickly. I swim with mine and it easily goes over my head. Never had an issue with dog owners, most are very sensible and control their dogs and on the odd occasion there is some aggression between dogs, people, even strangers if the owners are further away, jump in and break things up before there is any real trouble. It can get busy on weekends and parking is only in local streets, so weekday afternoons are best for a balance of plenty of dogs, but still somewhere to park nearby.

Excellent dog friendly (off-leash) beach! Water is shallow for a long way so you can walk right in with your dog. The dog beach is located a short walk from the normal beach, with Cafe's and places to get some food/drink easily within 5 mins. There is a large wharf/pier that you can walk along and look at all the boats/yachts that are docked. Great place for a walk with your dog!

Great place to take your dog on a hot day! This part of the beach is fenced off and has a good supply of dog poo bags. Always plenty of other dogs there for your dog to play with.

Literally is the best dog park that I have ever ever been to! I love love love love love this place! This place is so good on a hot day! This dog park has a gate as well. Super safe, great place to let the fur-babies run wild off leash. There is a real sense of community here, everyone here is happy to have a wet dog splash them haha
