I have been visiting Dr. Iman Falah for several years now, and I must say it's a testament to professionalism. The practice is impeccably clean, exuding a modern ambiance that feels almost brand new. Additionally, the convenience of onsite parking adds to the overall positive experience.nnBooking appointments is a breeze, whether it's done online or by calling the reception for assistance. I've found both methods to be efficient and reliable. Overall, I am very pleased with the level of service provided by the practice .
I have recently visited this medical centre , unbelievable, I have hardly come across any clean and well organised medical centre in Melbourne ! I’ve already consulted three doctors in this MC both on the phone and in person , and I was quite impressed and surprised with how patient their doctors are , not in a rush at all . In the last 10 years most of the GPs I’ve seen, their body and verbal langue is so rushing that the patient doesn’t even feel comfortable to share their symptoms and makes us quite distress . Last not least, their receptions , that are quite respectful and well mannered. I used to go to Bulleen Plaza medical centre, i feel as if I am in a Mall/ big bazaar ! Toilets are quite filthy dirty , pathology is quite disgusting , the whole centre looks like anything except medical centre. Although there are few good doctors over there but it seems the owner is quite stingy and is not bothered with hygiene! I even wrote to Health Dep but to no avail !
Today I booked a appointment with Dr Iman and I was made to feel very uncomfortable. Being such a busy holiday period I had forgotten to get one of my scripts which is my main Med that I need for my mental health without it I have breakouts in hives. My usual clinic with my Dr wasn't reopening till the 2/1/2024. Dr Iman basically made me feel like an addict saying I've switched between Drs in the last 3 years and couldn't see my current Dr listed on his system which I could have shown my appts on hotdoc but he wasn't interested. The whole thing just made me feel uncomfortable just because I had forgotten to get this one script before Drs closed for the holiday period.
This place is my favourite medical Center, they always have availabilities and pick up the phone quickly and they still do bulk billing which is great. Dr. Iman is very professional and caring. I have been a patient of this clinic for almost 3 years and it’s been great experience ever since.
When you visit this clinic, it may be helpful to know that:nnDuring the first and second visits, this clinic might seem appealing, as some reviews suggest. However, after subsequent visits and once you've chosen this clinic as your GP, you'll notice some issues:nnDisorganization in appointment times and a lack of consideration for patients' basic rights. Sometimes, they disregard scheduled appointment times, possibly because they've become accustomed to it since you're no longer a new customer. For instance, after a doctor's visit, insurance requires the doctor's approval for payment. I was delayed for about 10 days just for the doctor to sign a form. I made at least three to four phone calls during this time and ultimately had to go in person to get it signed, which took just two to three minutes of the doctor's time. When I raised this issue with the clinic's manager, they apologized, claiming that their staff hadn't informed the doctor, etc.nnAbout three months later, the same incident happened again. This time, I asked to approve for another Patient . They said they'd coordinate with the doctor and send it to me. I followed up on this every day for a week, and each time they said it would be done that day. On the seventh day, I called again, and they said they had no record of it. It makes me question their professionalism.nnAnother bad experience: Despite the fact that the doctor had examined the patient and sent them for an X-ray, the center's receptionist wouldn't allow a phone consultation with the doctor, insisting that I had to come in person and pay for the visit first, even though the X-ray results were urgent and necessary.nnThese are just a few examples of unprofessional behavior at this clinic. Such behavior can cause frustration and waste hours of your time for minor tasks that should be part of your basic rights as a patient but are neglected by this clinic. In my opinion, it diminishes the value of choosing this clinic for your medical needs.
