Amazing authentic Italian pizza in Mornington. The front staff was super helpful in accommodating us with walk-ins. The pizzas were amazing especially the San Daniele. Super generous and quality slices of prosciutto and fresh buffalo mozzarella on a perfectly cooked pizza dough. The tomato sauce was fresh and delicious too. Will definitely be back when we are in the Mornington region.
Amazing! Had a couple days away in Mornington and thought I'd treat myself to a fancy Italian dinner. Popped in on a Tuesday expecting a quiet area but the place was busy and pumping. The manager was able to seat me straight away right next to the kitchen area. The server was knowledgeable about the cocktails, and best of all the food was absolutely amazing, tasty, hot, well presented and overall excellent. I was in, fed and out within an hour which was perfect.
DOC has to be my favourite pizza in Melbourne. Thank you for accommodating our booking when we arrived late. This meal was superb and a great way to celebrate a special occasion.
Authentic Italian cuisine. Best service. Even has a deli serving Italian pasta and cured meats. A wonderful experience.
Lunch on 16/01/22 Food is superb - loved the pizza salsiccia and lasagna. Drinks - moscato was superb Atmosphere - lovely Service - lacking. It was clear that waiters/waitresses kept forgotting our order despite prompting. There were 3-4 tables that arrived after us who received food before us. No apology from staff except that food was on its way. It took us one hour after receiving antipasta to get the mains.
The pizza here was fantastic and the service was great. The staff are super friendly. The deli is also got a load of good products too.Food: 5/5
By far the best Italian restaurant on the peninsula and possibly even victoria. Not just is the food consistently delicious and as authentic as possible, the service is also lovely and very welcoming. Eventhough it can get very busy, the hustle and bustle is part if the awesome vibe that makes this place extra special. The staff are all very lovely and accommodating. On our last trip we had a rather sad 7 year old who got cheered up with a cheeky Baci chocolate from one of the staff, in general they are also very accommodating to families and children. I highly reccomend the pizza Ai porcine and the buratta!
Doc Mornington never disappoints. The service is quick and the food delicious. We had the white anchovies with fennel and a porcini mushroom pizza. Both were delicious.
Food was fantastic as always, we enjoyed the pizza DOC, spaghetti cacio e pepe and cannoli. 2 large cannoli were $14 dine in, but we noticed mini ones in the deli fridge for $3 if you're after a smaller size or snack. There is a huge range of deli and grocery items to the right hand side of the store. We dined in for a late lunch on a busy weekday, we mistakenly thought we wouldn't need a booking in mid afternoon but it was nearly a full house so try and plan ahead.
