So grateful for all the assistance and guidance provided by this amazing team of staff members! I've been to the store at least 4 times in these last few weeks and each time I've left with increased knowledge about the products, some high quality purchases for both live and recorded music, and very reasonable price matches. Highly recommend this store, the staff have so much expertise and are very patient and friendly. Thank you!
Had a great experience at this shop. The employee who helped me was sincerely interested in me getting the best value for my money. He also explained all necessary information. Walked out a happy chap.
Great store, plenty of stock and good range of items on demo. Staff member that served me appeared new and didn't know where everything was but handled it well and nothing was too much hassle. Will return for future AV and lighting needs.
Appalling customer service My husband and I have purchased many items from DJ City at both the Dandenong and Oakeigh stores. My last experience was of no surprise. Terrible customer service, again. 4 staff members stood behind the counter, didn't greet us as we entered the store let alone ask if we needed any help. When we finally asked for some help we were made to feel like we were massively inconveniencing them. We asked if the item we were purchasing had the required cables and told we had to buy some. We did and when we got home the item had all the cables in the box. Staff appear to have no product knowledge or fail to offer it and have never been of assistance when we have asked their opinion in store. We will now be finding another store to purchase our items. It's not hard to be nice, it's actually free. Train your staff in customer service and product knowledge. Date of experience: 02 September 2022
The service was first class. Friendly and caring. Guitar was in stock and easily found. Sales person was a very helpful person and an asset to the company.

Friendly team and awesome prices. Can't go wrong shopping here! I was looking for a specific product and found it only at DJ city. They had it at a great price and the staff were very accommodating. At the time they had a promo in store where if you posted a photo and review you received a 16Gb USB. Great idea! If you're after a good price and local store, DJ city is the place to visit.
I love this place - staff are very informative and knowledgeable on all the equipment. Very good advice to help with my purchase.
