Unlike other reviews, Bridie Hamilton was the kindest and compassionate teacher I have ever encountered. I had a health issue emerge this year, and she not only supported me through it but also helped me keep up with school by having weekly 1-on-1 catch-ups. She never once made me feel like I was dumb or cheating, and always helped me to understand tasks regardless of how long it took. I cannot imagine her being rude or 'rigid' as she is one of the teachers who helped me through year 12 this year. - J

VSV has been a game-changer for our family.nnWhen mainstream schooling completely let my son down, VSV stepped in and provided the support, structure, and flexibility he truly needed. The program is incredibly well-organised and thoughtfully designed, with caring staff who genuinely understand that every student learns differently.nnWhat I love most is how VSV allows students to engage in a way that suits them best—whether it’s turning off the camera during lessons or booking one-on-one meetings to ask questions. There’s always time and space for support.nnThe extra-curricular clubs are fantastic, especially for kids with special interests, and the social outings and events help students that at keen in meeting face to face .nnI’m so grateful for the positive impact VSV has had on my son’s education and wellbeing. I highly recommend it to any family looking for a flexible and supportive learning environment.

A few of my friends are enrolled in this school and receive an abhorrent amount of work. They have been incredibly busy these holidays, having to spend hours every day doing holiday homework. If they want a day off, it just means even more stuff the next day. It's utterly obscene and unfair. At my alternative school, each class gave us about an hour's worth of holiday homework that wasn't due by the time we came back. This school is absolutely for people who ONLY have issues with attendance. You tend to think attendance issues go hand in hand with school refusal, short attention spans, etc, so a school that accommodates one of those issues would accommodate all as much as possible, but not here. If you'd like a private school workload to do at home, without any of the benefits of attending a private school, then this place may be for you. But it's definitely not helpful for neurodivergent kids or anything like that, which is why everyone I know enrolled.

Fantastic experience! Saved my daughter's life. Teacher's were compassionate and attended to my daughter needs promptly! Self motivation is a requirement.  Highly recommend VSV!! Thankyou for making my daughter's final year a blessing in disguise!!

We were overseas, and our intended local school ended up being a major failure, despite what we thought was rigorous planning and research on our behalf. We were completely stranded without a schooling solution for our teenager. We approached VSV, and they were completely unhelpful and inflexible. I understand that institutions need policies and procedures, but their unwillingness to help during our unforeseen circumstances was a major disappointment. Thanks for nothing.
