The medication that I used after surgery caused serious problems. My GP told me to discontinue it. I advised the pharmacist who is also the owner and discussed a refund under Australian Consumer Law. He pretended that this doesn't apply to medications. I took the matter to the Health Complaints commission. They brokered a refund solution. Pharmacists are bound by a code of conduct for registered health practitioners. There are a number of principles under this code. Principle 8 – Practitioners must display a standard of professional behaviour that warrants the trust and respect of the community. This includes practising ethically and honestly. Australian Consumer Law comes with automatic rights that should be respected by businesses and health practitioners.
My wife went to pick up my perscriptions and there was an issue with one of them. The staff were very patient and understanding and the issue was resolved quickly and to her complete satisfaction. Amazing customer service from all staff involved. Thank you for going above and beyond.
