Really nice. I had look the reviews and expected. I think this is one of the top 3 I've ever had souvlaki so far. Very big piece of Lamb, nicely go with yogurt sauce and hot sauce and vegetables. I had a single size pretty enough. Also it was beautiful day to sit on the bench and share with seagulls: Thanks and love to visit again and happy to introduce to friends. Platter small is great too I added small pita bread for $2.50.
Easily the best souvlaki I’ve ever had. I was actually planning on going somewhere else but saw the huge queue so decided to try it out. The pita bread was soft, warm and chewy like it was freshly baked, the lamb was juicy and tender, the lettuce and tomato were fresh and crispy, and the tzatziki and tomato sauce tied it together perfectly. The portion size was huge too - I got the smallest size and it still made me full. Now I understand why the queue was so long!
Honestly the best. Can never go wrong with Dimitris. The lamb in the souvlaki is so tender and yum! Always go here when I’m visiting Christchurch.
So far, the best souvlaki place I've been to. Single sized platter + small pita is a good portion if you're hungry, but want a little room for desert. Lots of fresh salad and sauce. Very tasty meat I had beef mince and my wife had chicken. Olives are a tad too salty for my taste, but it's not a big deal. Overall, very healthy meal.
My all time favorite when I visit Christchurch. When I lived in Chch Dimitris was my regular. Add olives and feta - you won't regret Food: 5/5
Fantastic souvlaki, fantastic service. I have been here many times and have never had a bad experience. The queue can get pretty long sometimes, especially on the weekend, however the staff are very onto it. Despite there being so many people in line in front and behind me, I received my order within about 5 minutes of payment - pretty awesome !!! Sometimes it is difficult to get through to the counter to collect your food, however it is understandable considering the chaotic, space constrained and stressful lunch rushes. And please try Dmitri's falafel!! It is absolutely delicious, as are their homemade sauces. Definitely a vegetarian must-go in the city.

I'm going to need more stars, cause 5 stars just isn't enough! Dimitri's Lamb Souvlaki is without doubt one of the best things I've ever eaten!
The food here is great but it has now been multiple times where Iv been here and felt like the girl serving was rude. Luckily the food is good for me to return but do not enjoy the tone Iv been spoken to on multiple occasions now. I dont like leaving bad reviews but this needed to be said.
Really reasonable prices and great portion sizes. We got the lamb and chicken combo platter and it was utterly delicious! Highly recommend!
