Canebrra classic and was highly recommended by a friend. Went on a Saturday lunch and service was friendly and really quick. We really enjoyed the flavours of their famous laksa and some egg noodles. Will be back for sure!
Great place to eat Asian food . Three countries menu at one place .reason for giving three star is small things , they need to take care . I ordered tom yum kung soup ,chicken sizzler’s ,dim sim’s ,hokkien noddles and sticky rice . In tom yum soup the prowns are not properly cleaned . The dirt on their back is visible and they spoiled your whole taste . They said extra 15 mins for sticky rice . We finished are launch . But still no show . So we have to cancel . Otherwise all good .
Best Laksa ever! Also tried the Chicken Larb Kai and Combination Kwangtong noodles and both were very delicious! Also had the Char Kway Teow and it was great!

Best laksa! Day trip from Sydney to Canberra meant laksa for lunch. Delicious broth, generous servings, we rolled out the door. Look forward to visiting again!
Edit: My 4th visit here in as many years. I ordered the larb, that's about as healthy as it gets. Reasonable service, the restaurant went from being choc a block at 8pm to pretty much completely empty by 9pm. Old review: This place is extremely popular due to its large serves but it's just ok. I ordered a duck dish which was heavy on onion and bamboo shoots, low on duck. The duck breast itself was meh, the celery or whatever was super fibrous. The other 2 dishes also had a lot of bamboo. The chicken curry was good, rice noodles ok. I asked for some chili sauce on the side but it was just so-so. The coconut meat in the coconut drink tasted . Menu is extensive and they specialise in a variety of oily noodles. Can recommend it you're looking for a generous meal on a budget.
We went for dinner, but only had 45 minutes before closing. The portion sizes are good, but the food quality was not. My partner’s noodles were incredibly oily and the dish was greasy. The food has made her sick which is very inconvenient, and to make it worse, the staff were staring at us as I assumed that they wanted us to leave so that they could close with 20 minutes left. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

A popular little noodle restaurant in Dicksons Chinatown. They offer a wide variety of noodle choices from various Asian countries. I found the laksa to be tasty but there was enough broth in the bowl to allow for a true soup noodle experience. The pad Thai was cooked well but also lacked a little flavour. Overall not a bad place casual dining place, the service was average.
Dickson Asian Noodle House was a pleasure! My family were all very satirised with our meals. Great service and amazing Laksa. Probably the best I’ve had in Canberra. Give it a go!
