Stopped by with my two older kids 8 and 6 for lunch, decided on this place as it was the first time I’ve been in this area and wanted a more secluded spot that doesn’t feel hurried. We had a good experience, with the attentive waiters twice asking how we were doing which is appreciated. I had the fish and chips, well cooked and doesn’t at all feel greasy. The chips were also straddling the line between fried and dry—sign of a good kitchen, I’d say. Since there were two pieces I should’ve just shared with the kids. It came with a small side of salad, and I think there’s an option to add/replace with a bigger portion of the salad. While I don’t like salad that much, I have to say these guys know how to toss ‘em. Delicious and offset the fish and chips well. I ordered the linguine bolognese for my older kid—great taste but unfortunately the regular portion is bit too generous for him! I also got the peach ice tea, which might be too sweet for some people but I think it’s just perfect. All in all, I think they know what they’re doing and are worth another visit.
I went for lunch on Sunday and was one of the most disappointed visits. I've been here many times. I ask for tap water and was warm and the cup were hot just coming out from washing machine. We ordered 2 main, pasta arrive 10 minutes before my Scotch fillet, seriously? Linguine was mega over cook. Mash potato it was unsavoury at all, no salt, no butter, no nothing. Sad Scotch fillet I ordered medium read and arrive to the table medium well. The meat looks dry and it was tough and old. It was a really bad lunch. It's my first time that happened me in this place. And sadly I will think 20 time to come back.
One of my favourite family restaurants to go to. The vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming. The staff go above and beyond for their customers. The tastiest food, drinks and dessert I’ve tasted!! Will definitely be back
We came here for a special day dinner, love the salad and buffalo wings; it was tasty; however, we had to give two stars for the service! We ordered linguine pasta and pointing exactly on the picture, but it came up penne, these issues have not solved by the manager, we end up not finish the pasta, as it was not how we order or expected. This ruins the feeling& experiences throughout this place.
They have improved over the years, the cutlets, scotch fillet and chicken were all tender and flavoursome, the service was also very wonderful and attentive, but can I please suggest you fill up the side sauces a bit more, they were only half full when we received them and for $5 extra, It would be great if they were filled a little more so that it's enough to pour over the food. Other than that, I highly recommend this restaurant.
We stopped by for lunch after our walk. It wasnt that busy which was great. The menu here I thought was extensive. We had the signature beef burger and steak sandwich. Hands down the steak sandwich wins. It was a nice slice of beef and was quite tender. It was cooked well. The burger was good too. Very tasty. A lot of sauce but the sauce they had on it was nice. It exceeded expectations and I will try the other items on the menu next time. I would definitely recommend the steak sandwich.
I had lunch with my aunt at Dine and Dezerts, and we both agreed the experience was great. She had the seafood basket, and I had the steak sandwich. Of course we tried each other's meals : and everything was delicious. Service and atmosphere were great.Food: 5/5
Amazing restaurant!!! Delicious food, fantastic service, staff were so kind and even let us sit at a better table because of the size of our group. Had a great birthday for my friend, thank you!!
Food came out pretty fast & nice to see vegan crepes and waffles offered with lots of different toppings to choose from. Only complaint was the confusion surrounding the menu. Asked a server if the acai bowl was vegan because it didn’t mention dairy but also didn’t have the vegan symbol next to it. I didn’t receive a clear answer, first yes then no then yes, with only the mention of coconut flakes. Would be nice if there were more vegan options besides dessert so you wouldn’t be forced to have dessert for breakfast or lunch.
Looks nice but very disappointing food quality and awkward customer service. People served after got their food first and our second plate was 15 mins later and that when we asked for. Ordered well done steak sandwich and got medium rare with bits and pieces of chips. I would definitely not be back.
