Would not give these people the time of day. My wife and I meet with James Devenny and discussed the possibility of setting up a Self Managed Super Fund. We told James on 3 separate occasions that I was a discharged bankrupt and he told that was NOT going to be an issue. So he encouraged us to proceed and only after we spent thousand of dollars setting the fund up, he informed us that no banks or any other lending institutions would deal with us. Leaving us out of pocket and a totally useless costly SMSF. James final piece of advice to me after months of avoiding me was that I should seek financial advice !!! This was the reason we went to him and his company for in the first place. Total regret we even spoke with James and his firm.
