We stopped for dinner at Ararat while traveling back to Melbourne from South Australia. The Indian Punjabi cuisine at Desi swag is amazing. A simple dal tadka also tasted so good.
Amazing the best food I have ever tasted. Me and my family went there and loved thenFood and service. The chicken biryani was so good I took some home.
We're currently into month 14 travelling regional Australia and love a good Indian takeaway to break-up our usual BBQ fare. I've no hesitation in rating their takeaway as 5 star and we have tried alot across the country, so if you want a flavoursome Indian at a reasonable price you shouldn't go past the desi swag.
We had fantastic dining experience with the Tandoori entree and the Veg Biryani - perfect for a couple, matched with some with BYO cab sav! Excellent value and quality.
We never eat anywhere else when we come up to Ararat from Melbourne! Surprising to get Indian cuisine of this quality in a country town.nBest in the area and lovely staff.
