The place is always extremely dirty and utterly filthy. The equipment, including not just exercise machines but also toilets, taps, and other facilities, is constantly broken and takes a while to address repair
Pretty unclean, all urinals out of order and a bunch of equipment as well. Changerooms a bit of a shambles and towels and wiping equipment seem to be optional as opposed to the norm. Not a great casual visit
The gym has got equipment of all sorts , but as the website talks about sauna, I haven't seen a sauna . I am expecting a bit more courtesy or a free trial for its new customers. Otherwise, the gym is OK.nnAlso , I bought in a deirrimutt blue water bottle , cost around $15 , and used it for a week, after a while the rim around the bottle just cracked !!!!. Would expect a bit more quality.
Would give 0 stars if I could, 1 star is more than Melrose park deserves. Equipment not just exercise equipment, even toilets and taps ECT. CONSTANTLY broken. ‘Life Fitness’ are able to come out same day to fix machines, yet Melrose park takes months on end one thing as of the time of this post has been broken for probably close to 8 months. So dirty, utterly filthy all the time. Over crowded, but there's not a lot that can be done about that of course. And the music, absolutely feral music with incredibly inappropriate lyrics being played even while people's grandparents are working out here, everyone I know who goes there complains that the music is way to loud or just horrible and shouldn't be played in public, like, just play real music, not remixes and certainly not grime where said inappropriate lyrics come from. Never known a gym in all my life to have such poor management, it used to be good when it first opened, but it looks like a revolving door of employees, which considering all things said, doesn't surprise me
Don't buy your membership if you think it'll be a 24/7 gym. It's not, so don't waste your yearly membership like I did.
