Time for a training session as I am in Frankston this weekend. Having the pre paid 12 month membership is absolutely ideal, as I will be able to utilise the Derrimut Gyms ‍ in other suburbs. Various parking areas and easy access from all parking areas. Friendly staff and very helpful with any enquiries and ample equipment to choose from. Good session today and look forward to coming back tomorrow.
Been a Derrimut member training out of Frankston consistently for around two years now, and at the end of my last membership period knew it was time to find another gym. Initially this place was great, well maintained and clean, but not anymore. It lacks heavily in facilities compared to the other Derrimut gyms I went to. It just feels like it’s falling into disrepair. The bathrooms usually look trashed, heaps of machines on the floor are broken or close to breaking and the general lack of gym etiquette just got too frustrating. I hope you guys can pull this place back together, I miss what it used to be!
Very handy gym. It's on the main road. Easy to find if your a new person looking for this gym. About 200 metres away from Frankston station. There's always people going in and out of thus gym. And it's a 24hr gym. So it's good for working people and stayed at home parents. They can use it when children's are in bed and dad is home to baby sit.
It could be a really good gym, good location, but I’ve been getting the feeling that neither the staff nor the management cares about the place. It looks dirty and run down, the equipment that breaks isn’t fixed for weeks and even with discount, I feel like I’m not getting my money’s worth. You just get the general feeling that nothing is properly maintained, the restrooms look shocking and I’ve heard that the situation in the men’s restroom is even worse. I’m definitely considering to look for a new gym once my annual membership expires.
Gym is good. Staff seem disinterested and are blunt. No powdered pre workout available either
