Not many government departments are as efficient as these guys in Mackay. Got to give the team a big thumbs up. In and out in 15 minutes - no fuss, no drama, the team made it all so easy. Other government departments need to take your lead. Thanks guys/gals.

Although there was a line, we got served fast and efficiently.

Main Roads Mackay does a terrible job of maintaining the roads in the Whitsunday area, road markings are faded, the Bob Shepherd Bridge is narrow and lacks lighting, the flood cameras aren’t on Qld traffic, the Townsville district does more resurfacing each year than Mackay does in a decade. I am ashamed of our region and even worse is the people who work for Main Roads are locals. Like all Queensland Government departments they think they are best practice when they aren’t and are indifferent at any other way of doing things and seem to have scripted responses for pretty much everything.

Had an out of the ordinary request and Nikki handled it like a champ! Thanks Nikki and Shara :nnSo went in again, got a different customer service worker and got totally different answers and no licence. Not happy

After spending over 10 hours on the phone dealing with registration renewal for a RV I went to the Mackay CSC - Shara was up to the challenge of dealing with several departments to sort my problem out. Shara was also givn the run around on the phone by other departments 1.5hrs later she got the result and fixed the problem - Cannot thank her enough!
