Denovans is a real estate company with an office located at Mitchelton, founded in 1962 by Lew and Estelle Denovan. Their son Lance having grown up in a professional real estate environment began working in the company in 1985 and is now principal. Lance and his wife Jackie run the business carrying on the family tradition. I’ve had the worst experience with Denovans real estate over the past 5 years. Poor communication, no records kept of problems or issues raised for repairs required. I was told so many lies, abused by staff and told “if it’s not in writing, it didn’t happen” During a really stressful time of having to vacate and having no where to go, this real estate showed no compassion and clearly only care about the owner of the property and not the tenant. Please think twice about renting through this company. If you do, make sure ALL communication is in writing as they can’t be trusted.

Absolutely terrible experience with them. In our six months of tenancy we had four different agents. There was no communication between them nor a proper handover done when agents changed, and in the end we had to pay for all the maintenance cost that we had previously raised including mould from the floods, pest infestation etc Plus all the deposit money. In the exit report they even reported that there was a gecko on the wall. We were speechless. We had a perfect five years tenancy history so we were so disappointed how unprofessionally all our concerns/queries were handled.

From͏ the moment I first enquired on the property I purchased with Haydn I found him to be honest, and clear about the price expectations. He went out of his way to arrange a separate inspection for me as I wasn't available for the scheduled inspection. He was always contactable and answered any questions I had. He was clear about the seller's expectations and always very respectful of both the buyer and seller. The way he adapted his communication style to suit the needs of the clients shows what an excellent agent he is. I would definitely buy a property from Haydn again!

As a renter I couldn't have been happier with my experience with Denovans. I worked with both Lance and Joey at different times and they were kind, supportive, honest, and professional at every stage of my lease with Denovans. I highly recommend Denovans Real Estate and I can't thank them enough for everything.

Horrible and doddgy real estate. Took 6 months to get locks on my front and back doors had to actually go in to get anything done. House was deemed un liveable after floods and Jackie denovan was no help at all. I felt like she handled the whole situation quite "childishly" and told me to just close the doors to the wet affected rooms and sent dodgy tradies that didn't know what to do with the house to make more messes. Do not use this real estate they only want ur money and won't help when needed
