Edit: came back last week with a friend from out of town and tried some more menu items, had such a lovely experience that I’m changing my rating from 4 to 5. The chilli scramble looked to have been elevated since my last visit as well A great brunch and all day menu covering off all the classics. Today I had the chilli scramble with prawns which was delicious. Probably got a bit more sweetness than chilli but would absolutely order again. My wife had the fritters which could have probably been cooked a bit longer. So happy to have this little gem of a cafe back open in the neighbourhood!
Really cozy place to have breakfast.. Service was fast. Hash benedict was good. Great place to hang up with friends too.Food: 5/5
The coffee from here wasn’t too bad. There wa 3 sizes, small large and extra large. Got the extra large and can’t complain. Would drink again.
Big fan of this place. Have been here previously can say hand on the heart that their food is great. My personal go to recommendations are the chilli scrambled egg, and also the chicken salads. Their service is also on point and they are so warm to customers which is awesome. The ambience of the cafe is nice too and screams quintessential Melbourne. A cafe that is always worth the visit!
This cafe inside decoration is amazing. The seating as well. We had drinks there and it was as expected tasty and strong. The location is not that good but really it deserve a try. Although the services here is good and all staff were friendly. I do recommend this cafes for all
Good hot chocolate and brekkie options. Modern ambience lots of benched seats in almost booth type setting. So great if you're in a group.
Really enjoyed the food, tried chicken burger. Portion could have been bigger. Probably considering it costs $23. Loved hot chocolate.
What a great space for a neighbourhood cafe! Many different seating arrangements and loved the booths! I went on the weekend which was a blessing with car spots on this little one way street. Has an outdoor area for your fur baby which is always a win in my books! Chose the big breakfast and it was okay- it needed some flavour and same for the Spanish eggs too. A sauce or dressing would have liven up the dishes. Coffee wasn’t too bad either! Service was okay and can improve with attentiveness too. Overall a good cafe to check out!
Firstly I love the name of this cafe! It does have a Dennis the menace painting on its front to which is really cool. I didn’t expect this place to be so big but the interior is wonderful and really sets a tone for the place. The food was delicious. Eggs poached to perfection which is always key for Me.
Long wait time for food 40 minutes when ordering breakfast, male waiter looked like he'd rather be anywhere else than here, no water given on arrival for first 15m, also charged us extra for substituting bacon for a vegetarian option halloumi that was the same price on the menu. Sometimes you go to somewhere and the food makes up for it but it was also overcooked and half cold. Also cost us $39 each for a coffee and a glorified full breakfast!!! Only giving 2 star for the friendly Hispanic/Spanish waitress who took our order.
