We are brunch here palmist every morning when we were staying in South Bank because it was just such a wonderful cozy spot with delicious coffee and great food. You even get your own Ibis spray on your table to help defend your bacon! Not that they are trying to take the food directly out of your hands. Super fast service for everything and delicious food. Nothing so mind blowing that I wanted it every time, so we got to explore the menu each day. Great spot to kick off your morning.
Pet friendly cafe with delicious breakfast options. Get there early, it’s a very busy cafe and people are constantly eyeing off tables just as much as the ibises are trying to scoop up your breakfasts. The staff are friendly and the service is reasonably fast. Each out door table have ibis water sprays which is always fun until you spray water at the cars parked and miss the Ibis.
Coffee is nice, price around 4.5 up for coffee, +1$ can change different milk. Coffee is Have breakfast option into 3 PM! Food is fast, not wait for long if you want a quick meal. I had the Canadian waffle, 18.50$, it was nice, looks very good but it was too sweet for me. The waffle is already sweet plus the syrup is little bit too much. More like a desert already. I like it but won’t be my brunch too option. If you pay by card will charge you the fee.
Nice place to stop for breakfast on the South Bank. Coffee was very nice and the food arrived quickly despite the place being very busy. I had the Burger Hash which looked so good I forgot to take a picture of it. Highly recommended.
Very pleasant breakfast. The place was full yet the meals arrived quickly. Really good value considering it’s in the heart of Southbank. Coffees arrived after the meal which made sense as there was a big line for coffees. Overall would recommend and will dine here again.
The food is pretty good, recommend the bacon and eggs! The pancake is a little to sweet for me but it’s still decent! If you are a choco mint person definitely try their chocolate mint. 1 thing is that you need to be careful as there are this huge birds? fighting to get your foodRecommended dishesBacon and Eggs, Italian Hot Chocolate
Staff are very friendly. Food was quite delicious as well. There’s a bottle of water, I didn’t know for what until I saw the sign!!! When bin chickens approach, using that to shoot them It was my 2nd chilli scrambled egg in my snap trip, and it was fabulous ! Love this dish! The dessert served tiramisu on the day, and tasted awesome as well. The colour of this cafe made it tidy and brightly !
Lovely and very popular cafe in the Southbank district of Brisbane. Excellent food and coffee. My smashed avocado with poached eggs was excellent, the Turkish bread was very fresh . Staff very friendly, even thought it was busy. And the local fauna is happy to peck around looking for the odd scraps. Free Ibis Repellent is provided on each table, in case they get cheeky !
Acai bowls are very refreshing and the Muesli tastes food. Friendly staff and quick service. Lots of seating outside and some in aircon inside. Does get busy on a weekend too.Food: 5/5
A pleasant little café in the South Bank dining precinct on Little Stanley Street, amongst a cluster of dozens of other eateries, bars, coffee joints etc. This area is a hive of activity, with a fun, lively and energetic vibe. Despite the large number of places around here, we struggled to find one where we could just get coffees and light snacks at a reasonable price, but luckily we stumbled on Denim Co which fitted the bill perfectly. We ordered open sandwiches, toasted sandwiches and coffees. It was all fresh and tasty, neatly prepared and with decent serving sizes. In a nice touch, they added a small packet of cheese and onion chips to my toasted sandwich. Service is friendly, polite and efficient and it’s relaxing just sitting outdoors on their plastic and steel, brightly coloured teal furniture, enjoying the food and drink, while watching the passing parade up and down Lt Stan Street. Being an outdoors café, there are no toilets on site, but the public ones are just a few minutes walk away, behind the swimming pool. The only downside to all this positivity, is the disaster that has engulfed not only the South Bris precinct, where this caf is located, but virtually the whole Bris C.B.D., with ongoing, interminable construction everywhere that has created a chaotic, messy, dirty, dusty city, that is super difficult for pedestrians to navigate. There seems to be no end to it. I feel sorry for many of the business owners around here, especially the ground floor restaurateurs, like Denim Co, who are forced to endure this unending nightmare. Shame on the state govt or the local council or whoever is responsible for this shemozzle. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options
